주어적 속격과 명사형 어미의 상관성 = Nominalizer and Subjecthood in Korean

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This paper aims to investigate the relations of nominalizers and subjecthood in Korean based on 21st Sejong corpora, included modern written, spoken and pre-Modern Korean. In the previous researches some aspects on nominalizers and subjecthood were described independently. However their distribution of nominalizers and subjecthood is related closely, so their relativeness should be explained appropriately. In this paper I tried to explain the relations of nominalizers and subjecthood on the basis of the meaning of nominalizers and genitive marker. In this point of view position, some trials to derive subjecthood and nominalizers via transformation cannot be justified. In doing so, the conditions on licensing nominalizers and subjecthood depend on their meaning, that is {existence} and ‘presupposition of existence’ respectively.
