다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study is designed to study degree of involvement of private organization in community development. Findings of this study show that
1) Civil consciousness of community development has not been well developed.
2) Both general public and government have not been well aware of importance of cooperation.
3) Most of community development programs have been initiated by government.
4) There have not been close relationships between private organizations and government.
In order to solve problems as shown above some suggestions are made as follows:
1) Both private orgrnizations and government should recognize importance of community development.
2) Leaders of private organizations should participate in community development programs.
3) Public officials should consult with privte organizations for the development of community programs.
