무용과 대학원 교과 과정 체제 분석에 의한 전공별 진로 방향 모색 : 서울 시내 소재 및 경인지역 8개 대학을 중심으로

At present after 40 years have passed since the education of dance started to be carried out in the university of korea, in the dept. of dance(of the studies of dancing) of each university, they have devoted themselves to a lot of studies so that the educational course, as an index which the education of dance must point to, should be performed effectively and systematically. Up to now, however, it is true that quite a lot of problems are being seen according as the level of the education of dance has been extended in a quantitative side rather than in a qualitative side.
Consequently, this study has an object of investigating the graduate students' satisfaction with the curriculum and interests in the future course, who are majoring in Dance, to help them decide their direction for a future course.
In doing this study by the analysis on the system of a curriculum for the dept. of dance in the graduate school, at first, I investigated the analysis and realities on the curriculum for the graduate school by department (general department, artistic department, educational department), and secondly, selected 8 numbers of university among the ones located in Seoul and the district of kyung-in(Kyung Hee University, Se Jong University, Sookmyung Women's University, Yong In University, I-hwa Women's University, Choong Ang University, Han Sung University and Han Yang University) and taking a total of 165 students, 55 students each by major, as its subjects, studied the graduate students' satisfaction with the curriculum by major and the problems and matters to improve in the curriculum through a questionnaire method and a telephone interviewing method.
In sum based on these assumptions, it is like following.
First, Establish the individual educational course according to an educational study object of each graduate school.
Second, Open the program by step for an inspected education.
Third, Install the mutually exchanged class with the other university or the specialized social groups in order for the effective and developmental dance education.
Fourth, The balanced establishment of subjects by the subjects extending over the whole performances, namely the academic provision of all those factors to support these subjects, is necessary.
Fifth, The preparation of educational spot accompanying the testers, who can inspire an originality and a dancing composition for the artistic values as a performance, and the improvement of educational course are needed.
The situations on these results will be improved with the extended directions and chances of employment when the curriculum for the department of dance of the graduate school is to secure a specialized and unique area as a more profound course and when the dance field is to be placed as an independent specialized area, I think.
In order to become the place of education to raise the curriculum for the department of dance in a qualitative side and to train and produce the professional dance artists, based on the improving plans suggested in this study, the interest in a national level and the concrete countermeasures for the graduate school-centered educational reform plans to be adapted in substance should be accompanied together.
