대학생과 성인의 통일의식 및 통일교육 시사점 = A Study on the Unification Consciousness of University Students and Adults and its Implications

To Korean People, unification is an important task. In the short term it can bring some cost savings resulting from the division, and in long term it can do permanent peace regime on the Korean Peninsula and be laid the foundation of the humanitarian healing the divided family which did get lots of pain by dividing of both Korea. This unification, in Korea, is still becoming the critical point to standard by which to estimate progress and the maintenance, resulting in ideological conflicts between the people of South Korea has become the seeds. Especially important in the current unified policy and public opinion in the layer of the unified consciousness of adults, including college students looking at a future that those who seek a unified way to improve education has an important meaning. Topics of this study are as follows: 1) satisfaction with the current government's North Korea policy, and 2) promote a unified rate, 3) need for unity, and the like. Awareness of these topics to see two kinds of materials were utilized. Park Geun-hye's first unified government for the policy to see people's awareness of the unity consciousness, Seoul National University Research Institute for Peace and Unification was a note. Second, the unified consciousness of adults, including college Learn The Academy of Korean Studies said the survey results, see. This study found that at some point in the following. Park Geun-hye's first unified policy for government satisfaction is very high. Continue to rise, but it's really because it was based in hye whether caused by the government for the launch of the in-depth analysis is needed. Public awareness of the need for a unified gradually lowered, and the unification of university students also showed higher indifference. Between social classes, regional differences remained in recognition of unity. Through considering these points, this study shows some suggestions for helping unification education of Park Geun-hye's government.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

북한 한국 국민들에게 있어서 통일문제는 중요한 과제이다. 단기적으로는 분단으로 인한 비용을 절감할 수 있고, 장기적으로는 한반도의 영구적인 평화체제의 토대를 마련할 수 있으며, 인도적 차원에서는 이산가족의 이산의 아픔을 아물게 해 줄 수도 있다. 그런데 이러한 통일문제는 한국 국민들에게 있어서 여전히 진보와 보수를 가늠하는 기준이 되며, 이로 인해 한국 국민들 사이의 이념 갈등의 씨앗이 되고 있다. 특히 현재의 통일정책에서 중요한 여론층을 형성하고 있는 대학생을 포함하는 성인들의 통일의식을 살펴보는 것은 이들을 대상으로 한 향후 통일교육의 개선방향을 모색하는 데 있어서 중요한 의미를 갖는다. 본 연구에서 다루게 될 주제는 1) 현정부의 대북정책에 대한 만족도, 2) 통일 추진 속도, 3) 통일 필요성 등이다. 이 주제들에 대한 의식을 알아보기 위해 두 가지의 자료를 활용했다. 우선 박근혜 정부의 통일정책에 대한 국민들의 인식을 알아보기 위해 서울대학교 통일평화연구원의 통일의식조사자료를 참고했다. 둘째, 대학생을 포함한 성인들의 통일의식을 알아보기 위해서는 한국학중앙연구원의 조사결과를 참고했다. 본 연구는 다음 몇 가지 점을 발견했다. 우선 박근혜 정부의 통일정책에 대한 만족도는 매우 높게 나타났다. 하지만 지속적으로 상승하는 기조 속에 있기 때문에 그것이 과연 박근혜 정부의 출범에 기인한 것인지에 대해서는 심층분석이 필요하다. 일반국민의 통일의 필요성에 대한 인식이 점차 낮아지고 있으며, 대학생들의 통일무관심도가 높게 나타났다. 계층간, 지역간 통일인식의 차이가 잔존하고 있었다. 이러한 점들을 고려하여, 본 연구는 박근혜 정부의 통일교육의 성공을 위해서 통일무관심도와 갈등 극복을 위한 몇 가지의 정책적 제언을 제시했다.
