취약청소년 자립준비도 척도개발 및 타당화 = Development and Validation of the Independent Living Readiness Scale for Vulnerable Youth

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to develop and validate the independent living readiness scale to measure objectively vulnerable youth’s independent living level. The scale development was arranged a compromise between theoretical approach and experiential approach. For this study, the data were collected from literature search, personal interview and group interview with 14 vulnerable youths, focus group interview with 5 staffs, content validity review by 36 experts, preliminary survey of 198 youths and main survey of 2,028 youths. Using collected data, suitability of measurement model was evaluated by exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis, and next convergent validity and discriminant validity was verified. As the result of study, this multidimensional readiness scale for independent living which are of 54 questions, 16 factors with 7 small scales such as self-reliance will, ability career and vocational, economical management, social skill, management of housing and daily life, self care, management of study was completed. In the scale of readiness for independent living Cronbach’s ? value of 7 regions was between .66~.87 and overall showed .94 of fine internal consistency. Continually, to check generalizability of developed scale, convergent validity, cross validity, and contrast group validity was evaluated and all result showed fine internal and external validity.
