인공와우이식 아동의 음성청취를 통한 화자식별에 관한 연구

The primary purpose of this study was to examine the paralinguistic voice processing of 12 children with cochlear implant(CI). For such purpose, the their ability of speaker identification including the aspects of gender and age identification was assessed and compared with those of 12 normal-hearing children and 12 normal-hearing adults. The results showed that the children with CI had a severe deficit of speaker identification. The rates of the correct response in the speaker identification task were 38.7% for children with CI, 90.7% for normal-hearing children, 98.4% for normal-hearing adults respectively. The rates of the correct response in the gender and age identification task were respectively 65.5%, 50.2% for children with CI, 96.1%, 93.8% for normal-hearing children. Finally, the necessity and guidelines for development of effective procedure of auditory training for children with CI were discussed and suggested.
