영유아 보육서비스 전달체계의 평가연구 -대구광역시 동구지역의 효과성과 만족도 평가를 중심으로- = A Study on the Evaluation of Child Care Delivery Systems: Focused on the Evaluation of Effectiveness and Satisfaction of Dong-gu District, Daegu Metropolitan City

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this empirical study is to test and evaluate the association between the relevant variables of child care service delivery systems and the variable of effectiveness from the perspective of provider and, in addition, between the relevant variables of child care service delivery systems & effectiveness and the variable of satisfaction from the perspective of beneficiaries. The data was collected by way of a survey targeting the four kinds of general child care facilities (i.e., public, private, corporation, family) operating at the Dong-gu District community, Daegu Metropolitan City and their users, by using two-stage stratified cluster sampling. Multi-level analysis was utilized for separated result of the impact of organization-level for the evaluation of effectiveness and the impact of individual-level for the evaluation of satisfaction. In terms of the result of hypothesis testing on the determinants of effectiveness variable, professionalism and financial comprehensiveness, among various key factors on child care service delivery systems, are shown influential statistically to the perception of directors of child care centers on effectiveness. In other words, directors of child care centers perceive that professionalism variable has the strongest influence by 46.5%(β=.465) and then next, financial comprehensiveness variable by 41.8%(β=.418). In addition, among various variables on child care service delivery systems & effectiveness variable, accountability and community participation are seen to have a positive impact on the beneficiaries' satisfaction. In other words, accountability variable has a relatively high impact by 24.6%(β=.246) and then community participation variable by 16.1%(β=.161) on the parents' satisfaction. It is expected that the findings on multi-level analysis will contribute to improving users' satisfaction level and developing government-aided policies.
