This study classifies the distressed consultation desire of the field-artillery men in their army lifes into a personal and a military unit problems and thus been analyzed on the bases of five different factors.
The purposes are to provide substantial basic information for the introduction of military social welfare in order to plan out the brighter army life and the improvement in soldiers' life quality for the development of the combat strength after all.
The questionnaire has been made over nine different artillery units in total and been selected by their forms as a standing division(two battalions), a reserve division, a local reserve division(two battalions) and below analyzed contents are based on 385questionaries that's been questioned.
Firstly, I looked at their counseling desire through link with 5 different factors.
Analyze after the problem of the army life in connection with the five different factors such as the difference between the officer and soldier, one who was bred in a normal family and one who wasn't in their adolescent age, one who has a religion and one who doesn't, one who has an intersexual relationship or a lover and one who doesn't and one who has injured himself or committed an attempted suicide and one who hasn't.
Secondly, we looked for military social workers activities and current situation as requested by an artilleryman. According to the research the most soldier said they won't able to get the counseling from the counselor, second mostly 11.9% soldiers can get the counseling once per a month and the main consultant when the consultation is needed 'colleague' was the most with 39.3%.
In the consultation priority order the military social worker took the 5th place which is an inactive status, the extent of problem solving through the consultation in their army life was above the average.
Thirdly, the work related satisfaction of the military social specialist was confirmed and analyzed as they were satisfactory in their general duty.
Fourthly, it was surveyed with positive respondents of 70.2% as there is a necessity for an extended employment of the military social worker and an army systematic alternative idea for the extended introduction plan of the military social worker.
Fifthly, the biggest reasons for increasing number of military social worker are to consult about a guide line after discharge military service, to consult about personal issues and their problems about family and their financial problems.
As you can see from the result of the research when we increase number of military social workers. We also have to increase the sector of counseling. (consult about personal issues, maladjusted person in military service and social welfare).
Therefore, I wish that the result of the study be referenced by the worker while on duty and fo!r the soldiers in their active army life.
