정신장애를 가진 여성의 양육경험에 관한 질적 사례연구 심리사회적 대처를 중심으로 = A Qualitative Case Study on the Experience of Parenting of the Woman with Mental Illness Focused on the Psycho-social Coping

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구의 목적은 정신장애를 가진 여성의 양육 상 어려움과 심리적·사회적 대처내용, 자녀와 함께 살아가는 삶의 결과와 기대 등에 대한 이해를 얻고자 하는 것이다. 이를 위해 질적 연구방법중 사례연구를 통해 분석하였다. 연구결과, 참여자들은 결혼과 자녀양육을 시작하면서 정신과적증상, 양육의 어려움, 경제적 어려움 등을 겪지만 어머니가 되어 가고 있었다. 양육과정에서는 참여자 내면의 힘과 자녀, 가족 등의 도움으로 문제에 대처하고 양육자로서 역할을 해 나갔다. 결과적으로, 자녀와 함께 하는 삶에 대에서 참여자들은 엄마로서 부족하지만 절대적인 존재인 자녀를 바라보며 적극적으로 세상과 소통하고자 하였다. 연구결과를 바탕으로 정신장애를 가진 여성의 양육에 대한 함의와 지원 방향을 제시하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to understand parenting difficulties, psycho-social coping, life results and expectations of the woman with mental illness. For this, a case study method was adopted to analyze data in the psycho-social coping. The study result was as follows: "Through marriage and parenting experience, participants was becoming a mother with psychiatric symptoms, parenting difficulties, and economical difficulties." In the parenting process, participants who had internal strengths and family support coped with problems and performed parenting roles. Though participants felt insufficiency as a mother, they perceived child as an absolute being and wanted to communicate with society. Based on the results, the study proposed implications and direction of support on parenting of the woman with mental illness.
