ARCS동기모델을 적용한 온라인 국제교류협력학습의 정보능력 신장 효과 = Online international exchange collaborative study affect on the student's information literacy using the theory ARCS

국문 초록 (Abstract)

21세기 정보화·세계화 시대에 적응하고 능동적으로 대처할 수 있는 능력을 신장시키는 교육에 대한 중요성이 대두되면서 모든 교과에서 정보화·세계화 교육을 위한 학생들의 정보능력의 필요성을 강조하는 연구가 이루어지고 있지만 교육방법과 그 효과를 제시하는 연구는 미흡한 실정이다. 본 연구는 일반계 고등학교 정보 교과에서 ARCS동기모델을 적용한 온라인 국제교류협력수업을 진행하였을 때와 강의식 수업을 진행하였을 때 정보능력 신장에 차이가 있는 지를 알아보기 위한 연구이다.
연구를 수행하기 위해 먼저, 국제학급을 선정하여 공동 웹사이트를 운영하고 학생간 교류활동을 전개하였다. 그리고 협력수업을 위해 온라인 국제교류협력수업 내용 요소를 선정하고 ARCS동기모델을 적용한 온라인 국제교류협력수업 교수학습방법을 구안하여 수업에 적용하였다.
본 연구의 결과는 첫째, 강의식 수업을 통해 학생들의 정보능력이 신장되었으나 ARCS동기모델을 적용한 국제교류협력수업을 적용하였을 때 더욱 긍정적인 효과가 있었다. 둘째, ARCS동기모델을 적용한 국제교류협력수업은 교류하는 국제 학급 간 공동 과제를 해결하기 위해 필요한 정보를 수집, 분석, 조직, 관리하고 이를 활용하는 정보능력이 신장되었다. 셋째, 컴퓨터와 인터넷을 통한 국제교류를 활성화시키는 교육방법에 대한 연구가 거의 없는 실정에서 국제교류 활성화 교육 방법을 찾고 이를 투입해 보는 계기가 되었다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Many studies about how to improve the Information Literacy of students are running what meets the needs for the requirements for developing human resources in the 21st century. However, they don't show any effective and interesting way and the effect of the Information Literacy education.
This study explored the effective and interesting ways and the Online International Exchange Collaborative Study Affect on the high school student's Information literacy Using the theory ARCS in a information class.
First of all, I contacted international classes made a web site on internet and used together it for the study. Next, I selected contents for international collaborative class and made a plan of the Online International Exchange Collaborative Study Using the theory ARCS.
The result shows that the information literacy of both controled group and experimental group improved. However, the Information Literacy of experimental group was much more improved than that of the other group. As a result, the information literacy to collect, analyze, organize, manage and use the information to solve the task improved through Online International Exchange Collaborative Study Using the theory ARCS. Furthermore, this study could find how to make active international exchange using computer and internet and, apply it to the class.
