이탈리아인 한국어 학습자를 위한 외래어 활용 모음 발음 교육방안 연구

Interest in Korea has led to a passion for learning Korean language, and the number of students looking forward to learn Korean at universities in Italy is
increasing. However, studies on Korean language education, there is not much research on Korean language teaching methods. Not only in pronunciation teaching for Italian language learners, but also in other fields. One of the reasons that native Italian speakers study Korean is to communicate smoothly with Korean natives, so pronunciation accuracy is very important in conversation through spoken language.
The very different phonological systems of Italian and Korean mean that it is difficult for Italians to acquire Korean pronunciation. Utilizing the characteristics of the English vowel system, which has a vowel system similar to Italian and can correspond more closely to Korean vowels, can reduce the burden and difficulty of Italians acquiring Korean and learning its pronunciation.
Therefore, this study proposed an educational method for teaching pronunciation of Korean vowels using English loanwords for Italian Korean language learners. Firstly, the necessity and purpose of this study were revealed in the introduction, and examined precedent research on Korean pronunciation education for Romance languages natives which are Spanish, French and Italian native speakers. Also, studies of loanwords pronunciation teaching method in Korean language education were reviewed.
Vowel systems in Korean and Italian were compared and contrasted, then vowel pronunciation recording experiment with Italians who are studying Korean is progressed. This was a process that went further than predicting the Korean vowel error phonemes of Italians in previous contrastive analyses, and confirmed the results of an experiment that examined the comprehension of native Korean speakers.
To collect loanwords for use in Korean vowel pronunciation classes, the National Institute of the Korean Language 「Basic Loanwords Using Vowels」 and the corpus
of spoken languages were used, and additional loanword selection criteria were introduced. ‘List of vowel pronunciation loanwords for Italian Korean language
learners’ was created. Based on these contents, a two-way processing process was adopted as the pronunciation teaching principle for Italian Korean language learners, and the teaching model was set to ‘introduction-presentation-practice-utilization-completion’ in order to present a specific lesson plan.
Korean vowel pronunciation education combining English loanwords for Italian Korean language learners is important in that it will be useful in Korean language
education field in Italy and Italian Korean language learners learn pronunciation effectively.
