대학생 내담자의 작업동맹 지각과 상담자-내담자 언어 상호작용 특성 = Client’s Perception on Working Alliance and Counselor-Client Verbal Interactions in Counseling Case

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to identify the pattern of counselor-client interactions related to the working alliance from the point of view of the rupture-repair and establishment. The WAI is used for measurement of client’s perception on working alliance. Using the collaborative interactions scale developed for the transcript of the counseling sessions, counselor-client verbal interactions of 11 cases are classified as detailed units. Then they are analyzed data by sequential analysis, especially unidirectional independence test and dominance test. The main findings are as follows. The sequential response pattern such as client’s alliance rupture marker followed by positive counseling intervention is found to related to positive working alliance. These results indicate that counselor’s interactions competence changing client’s negative response to collaborative process played a major role in a client’s perception of the working alliance. The limitations of the study were discussed and future research was suggested.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 작업동맹을 긍정적 또는 부정적으로 지각하는 내담자의 상담자-내담자 언어 상 호작용 특성을 작업동맹 결렬-회복 그리고 작업동맹 수립 및 유지의 측면에서 살펴보는 데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 작업동맹 수준 지각에 차이가 있는 11개의 실제 대학생 상 담사례를 대상으로 한 회기씩을 녹음하여 축어록화 한 후, 협력적 상호작용 척도 (Collaborative Interactions Scale; CIS)를 활용하여 상담자와 내담자의 언어 반응을 코딩하 였다. 유목화 된 데이터를 기반으로 연계분석(sequential analysis)를 수행하였으며, 연계분 석 결과 통계적으로 유의미한 상호작용에 대한 축어록 상의 예시를 작업동맹 수준 지각이 높고, 낮은 사례별로 제시하였다. 분석 결과 첫째, 작업동맹을 긍정적으로 지각한 사례에 서는 내담자가 상담과정에서 이탈되는 결렬반응 시, 상담자가 긍정적 개입을 하는 특성이 나타났다. 둘째, 상담자의 탐색, 피드백, 정서제시, 공감 등의 긍정적 개입 반응이 내담자의 협력, 특히 감정 및 생각 표현 반응을 유발하는 것으로 나타났다. 반면 작업동맹을 부정적 으로 지각한 사례에서는 내담자 결렬반응에 대한 상담자의 부정적인 개입 그리고 상담자 의 긍정적 개입 반응을 통한 내담자의 협력반응 유발 실패가 그 특징적 상호작용으로 나 타났다. 이와 같은 결과는 실제 상담에서 작업동맹 결렬-회복 및 작업동맹 유지를 위하여 상담자가 내담자와 어떠한 언어 상호작용을 해야 할 지에 대한 구체적 지침 마련에 기여 할 것이다.
