六壬學의 展開樣相과 推命 硏究 A Study on the Developmental Patterns of Yook-Im Study and Chu-Myeong

국문초록

육임학은 음양오행설을 바탕으로 하고 상수체계 원리를 접목하여, 공간과 시간의 현상으로 인간의 吉‧凶‧禍‧福을 예측할 수 있는 占學으로 분류되며, 추상적 철학을 구체화함으로써 인류가 실생활에 유용하게 사용할 수 있도록 구성된 술수학이다. 특히, 고대의 술수학 가운데서도 수준이 매우 뛰어나기 때문에 일반인들이 접근하거나 정통하기에 매우 어려운 학문이다. 학문적 신비감과 그 깊이를 헤아릴 수 없다는 것을 제외하더라도, 포함된 법리가 너무나 광범위 하여 원리를 깨우치기가 쉽지 않다. 육임학을 올바르게 전수받은 사람이 없다면, 완전히 터득하기가 매우 어렵다고 할 수 있다.
논자는 그동안 학계에 제출되었던 논문들을 미리 검토하면서 육임학에 대한 이론근거가 약하고, 학문내용이 추상적으로 흘러감으로써 학적토대가 미비할 수밖에 없다는 것을 깨닫게 되었다. 따라서 본 논문에서 선행연구보다 좀 더 보완된 연구를 진행함으로써, 육임학의 새로운 해석의 필요성을 제기하고자 한다. 국내에서는 아직 발표되지 않은 추명술을 제출할 것이다. 구성은 다음과 같이 진행하고자 한다.
첫째, 연구의 목적은 육임학의 일반론이 된 사안별 정단, 즉 단시점 만이 아닌 추명을 통하여 인간사 평생운명을 간명하려 하였다. 이 과정에서 선행 논문과 이미 출간된 고전과 外書를 참고하고 국내 육임학에 대한 박사학위 논문, 석사학위 논문, 등재 학술지에 실린 논문을 분석하였다. 그리하여 논자의 연구방법에 적절히 활용하였고, 연구범위는 육임학이 술수로서 기전개 된 내용을 서술하려고 한다.
둘째, 고대 중국의 학문적 문헌을 나열하였고, 삼국 이전부터 삼국시대, 고려시대, 조선시대에서 현재에 이르기까지 학문적 연원을 고찰하였다. 시대에 따라 신비롭게 여겨졌던 점학서가 객관적인 통계학을 기반으로 미래를 예측하는 분야로 발전해 나감을 알 수 있다. 육임학의 기초이론은 일반 논문에서 정리되고 설명된 적이 없다. 따라서 구체적인 기초이론을 구성하여 정리하였다. 또한 섭해과의 오류를 지적, 설명하고 바른 판단법과 그에 따른 새로운 적용법을 제시하였다. 육임학의 활용범위에서 사과삼전의 흐름과 적용을 밝히고 더하여 󰡔畢法賦󰡕에서 적용되는 사과삼전법을 적시하였다.
셋째, 추명의 학술적 특징과 발전 과정을 논하였지만, 선행연구의 부재, 문헌적 書誌 정보가 불분명한 점은 가장 난해한 부분이었다. 따라서 육임학에서 추명학 연구는 앞으로도 난제일 수밖에 없을 것이다. 그리고 추명의 정단요소, 추명의 학문전개와 사유체계를 서술하였다. 그러나 다른 서술서 중 논자의 논리와 맞지 않는 부분이 있기 때문에 그 이유를 적시하고 그와 다른 증거를 제시하였다.
넷째, 추명의 해석 방법으로 여러 가지 설이 있지만, 분명하게 정리되어 명시된 것은 딱히 없는 실정이다. 이것은 추명술이 발전하기 위한 연구와 다양한 육임학의 분석이 없었다는 것을 반증한다. 단시점에 급급하다보니 학문적인 포커스는 극히 단순한 곳에 머물러 본 논문에서는 外書의 육임추명을 바탕으로 실제로 홍콩, 대만에서 적용되고 있고, 풀이된 것을 기본서로 활용하였다.
다섯째, 추명의 실제적 적용에서는 수명간명법과 관직의 일생 정단을 예시로 관법과 문헌(󰡔六壬指南󰡕)의 관법으로 나누어 적용하고 그 이유를 제시하였다. 또 추명의 富貴, 貧賤, 僧導, 九流의 命으로 분류하여 설명하였다. 각각 예문을 활용하여 적용하였고 삶의 간명을 제시하였다. 또한 명리학과 육임학의 추명을 비교하고 실례를 들어 설명하였다. 현대적 추명의 방법 또한 예문을 들어 육임추명에 대한 오류를 비판하고 현대추명의 새로운 추명 방안을 제출 하였다.
이상과 같이 본 논문을 구성하여 작성하였다. 육임학은 결코 인식과 논리를 중요시 하는 철학적 사유체계로는 접근할 수 없다. 육임학은 점서에 해당하는 것으로 인간의 생사와 수명장단과 길흉화복을 밝혀내는데 최적화된 학문분야이다. 그러므로 육임학은 인간의 만사를 해명해 예측하려는 미래예측학의 한 분야로 보아야 한다.

ABSTRACT

Yook-im study is based on the theories of Yin and Yang and the Five Elements and incorporated into the principle of the constant system, being a sort of divination studies to tell good or bad luck and fortune or misfortune for human beings based on the phenomena of time and space.
Yook-im study has specified abstract philosophy, serving useful purposes in the real life of mankind. It is the divination study of a very high level among the ancient Sulsu studies. It is highly difficult for common people to approach or master it. The principles of law included in it are too broad and deep let along its immeasurable academic mystery and depth. If there is no master to hand it down the right way, one will have extreme difficulties with mastering it completely. The investigator examined papers submitted in the academic circles and found that there were too many abstract parts in the development and scholarship of Yook-im study with only weak ground theories, thus deciding to conduct this study and raise a need to provide amplified interpretations for its system.
In addition, the investigator would mention Chu-myeong-sul not published in the nation yet. The organization of the present study was as follows:
First, the objective of the present study was to figure out the lifelong fortune of man in human affairs through Chu-myeong as well as a short-term perspective or Jeongdan by the issue that became a general theory about Yook-im study. In the process, the investigator analyzed previous studies, the utilization of translation in classical works and foreign books that were published, theses for a doctor's or master's degree on Yook-im study in the nation, and registered journals, applying the analysis results to serve the purpose of the present study. As for the scope of research, the study noticed and described what was implied in Yook-im study as Sulsu.
Second, the investigator enumerated the academic literature and historical research of ancient China and examined the academic origin of Yook-im study from pre-Three Kingdoms periods through the periods of Three Kingdoms, Goryeo, and Joseon to the present time. Objective divination books developed into prediction books for the future as part of practical statistics according to the developing situations of the times. Since there were no general papers that sorted out and explained the basic theories of Yook-im studies, the present study shed new light on its specific basic theories and sorted them out. After pointing out and explaining errors with Seophaegwa, the study introduced the right methods of judgment and proposed new methods of application accordingly. The flow and application of Sagwasamjeon were examined and added to the utilization scope of Yook-im study to show the methods of Sagwasamjeon applicable to Pil-beop-bu.
Third, the study discussed the academic characteristics and developmental processes of Chu-myeong, but it was the most difficult part since there was the absence of previous studies on it and uncertain information about it in terms of literature and bibliography. There were no discussions about it in previous studies. The research of Chu-myeong study will remain a difficult job in the study of Yook-im. The investigator identified the Jeongdan elements of Chu-myeong and examined its academic development and thinking system. Coming across the parts that were not in line of his findings in the old books, the investigator raised the logic for them and provided different theories and pieces of evidence.
Fourth, there were different theories about the interpretive methods of Chu-myeong, but none of them arranged the methods clearly and gave a clear elucidation about them, which demonstrates that there has been no development and effort of Chu-myeong-sul. As they were busy with short-term perspectives, their academic focus remained on a very simple part. The present study introduced what was actually applied and interpreted in Hong Kong and Taiwan based on Yook-im and Chu-myeong in foreign books.
Fifth, the study also covered the actual application of Chu-myeong, applying the estimation method of human lifespan and the lifelong Jeongdan of Gwanjik according to the modern Gwanbeop and that of literature(Yook-im-ji-nam). Chu-myeong was used to separate, present, and explain the boundary between wealth and high status and poverty and low status and between Seungdo and Guryu. In addition, their example sentences were used and applied with the simple and clear state of life provided.
Finally, the investigator provided example sentences to compare Myeong-ri and Yook-im study with Chu-myeong and propose the methods of modern Chu-myeong, criticizing errors with Yook-im and Chu-myeong and providing a new plan for modern Chu-myeong.
The findings of the study show that Yook-im study is not an approach to a philosophical thinking system to value consciousness and perception, but a book of divination to tell the scope of life and death and fortunes for human beings in coexistence. As it was discussed in the compendium, Yook-im study should be regarded as a category of human-based future prediction studies to discuss the human Baeksa.
