청소년의 행동함정과 미래시간전망이 진로의사결정능력에 미치는 영향 = The Effects of Behavioral Traps and Future Time Perspective of Adolescents on their Career Decision Making Competency

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study aimed to examine the effects of behavioral traps and future time perspective of adolescents on their career decision making competency. For the purpose of this study, the subjects were 578 middle-school students and 303 high-school students who lived in Seoul. Data were analyzed by t-test, Pearson's correlation, multiple regression analysis, and linear regression analysis. And structural equation model was used to verify the model of this study to examine the mediating effects of future time perspective. The results were as follows. variables such as gender, grade did not show any effect on behavioral traps, future time perspective and career decision making competency. By the result of analysis, there was proportional correlation between future time perspective and career decision making competency and there was inverse proportion between behavioral traps and future time perspective, career decision making competency. The mediating effect of future time perspective between behavioral traps and career decision making competency was verified. In other words, the behavioral traps had direct effect on their career decision making competency and future time perspective mediated the relationship between behavioral traps and career decision making competency. So the career counselling program is needed for adolescents in order to be able to overcome reverse cognitive function such as behavioral traps and have long future time perspective.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 청소년의 행동함정과 미래시간전망이 진로의사결정능력에 미치는 영향을 분석하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 서울시에 거주하는 중학생 578명과 고등학생 303명을 대상으로 행동함정, 미래시간전망, 진로의사결정능력 등의 검사결과를 토대로 각 변인들의 성별과 학년 평균 차이검증과 상관분석, 선형회귀분석 등을 수행하였다. 구조방정식 모델을 사용하여 연구모형을 검증하였고, 행동함정이 진로의사결정능력에 미치는 영향에 대한 미래시간전망의 매개효과를 검증하였다. 연구결과 청소년의 성별, 학년에 따른 행동함정, 미래시간전망, 진로의사결정능력은 모두 유의미한 차이를 보이지 않았다. 행동함정, 미래시간전망 및 진로의사결정능력 상관관계 분석결과 미래시간전망과 진로의사결정능력은 유의한 정적 상관을 보였으나, 행동함정과 미래시간전망 및 진로의사결정능력은 모두 유의한 부적상관으로 나타났다. 행동함정과 진로의사결정과의 관계에서 미래시간전망의 매개효과를 검증하기 위해 구조방정식 모형을 이용하여 분석한 결과 청소년의 행동함정과 진로의사결정능력에 대한 미래시간전망의 매개효과는 유의미하게 검증되었다. 즉, 행동함정은 진로의사결정능력에 직접적으로 영향을 미치는 한편 미래시간전망을 매개로 하여 진로의사결정능력에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 학교나 관련 교육기관에서는 청소년들에게 일상적인 생활에서 행동함정에 빠지기 쉬운 역기능적 인지를 제거하고 진학위주의 단기적인 시간전망보다는 미래의 직업까지 생각할 수 있는 장기적인 시간개념을 기반으로 진로의사결정을 할 수 있는 진로상담프로그램이 필요하다.
