대학생의 성인애착과 SNS중독경향성간의 관계에서 경험회피의 매개효과

This study examines the correlations between adult attachment, SNS addiction proneness, and experiential avoidance among college students. The aim of the study is to verify the mediating role of experiential avoidance on the relationship between adult attachment and SNS addiction proneness this population group. To this end, a self-reporting survey was conducted among 221 college students in Busan Metropolitan City. Survey data were analyzed via a correlation analysis and a multiple regression analysis. First, the results indicated a significant positive correlation between adult attachment, SNS addiction proneness, and experiential avoidance among the respondents. Second, results of the analyses indicated that experiential avoidance is a partial mediating role with regards to the relationship between adult attachment and SNS addiction proneness among the respondents. Third, each male and female college student had different results as a result of a mediating effect of the effect of experiential avoidance in relation to adult attachment and SNS addiction proneness. In the male college students group, it was not mediating effect to experiential avoidance in the relationship between adult attachment and SNS addiction proneness. On the other hand, a group of female college students showed a partial mediating role with regards to the relationship between attachment anxiety and SNS addiction proneness among the respondents. And, indicated of a complete mediating role with regards to the relationship between attachment avoidance and SNS addiction proneness among the respondents. The finding suggests that Consultations on SNS addiction proneness should be handled differently by men and women. Finally, it suggests that intervention in experiential avoidance is important in counseling about SNS addiction proneness.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구의 목적은 대학생의 성인애착, 경험회피, SNS 중독경향성간 관계를 알아보고, 나아가 성인애착과 SNS 중독경향성 관계에서 경험회피의 매개효과를 확인하는 것이다. 이를 위해 221명의 대학생들에게 설문조사를 실시하였다. 그 결과는 다음과 같았다. 첫째, 성인애착, 경험회피 및 SNS 중독경향성은 전체적으로 유의미한 정적 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 다만 애착회피와 SNS 중독경향성은 정적관계가 있었지만 통계적으로 유의미하지 않았다. 둘째, 성인애착과 SNS 중독경향성 관계에서 경험회피는 애착불안에서만 부분 매개를 나타내고 있다. 셋째, 성인애착과 SNS 중독경향성 관계에서 남녀별 경험회피 매개효과를 매개모형에 맞춰 검증한 결과, 남자 대학생과 여자 대학생은 서로 다른 결과를 보였다. 먼저 남자 대학생 집단에서는 애착불안, 애착회피와 SNS 중독경향성의 경험회피는 매개효과가 나타나지 않았다. 반면 여자 대학생 집단에서는 애착불안과 SNS 중독경향성의 관계에서 경험회피는 부분 매개가 나타났다. 애착회피와 SNS 중독경향성의 관계에서는 경험회피가 완전 매개함으로 나타났다. 따라서 본 연구 결과는 SNS 중독경향성에 대한 상담은 남녀별, 애착별로 다르게 개입해야함과 SNS 중독경향성에 대한 상담에서 경험회피에 대한 개입이 중요함을 시사한다.
