아동의 내적ㆍ외적 직업 가치관 결정요인 탐색: 성, 성취동기, 진로성숙도를 중심으로 = Factors to decide Elementary School Students' Intrinsic or Extrinsic Work Values : Sex, Career Maturity, Achievement Motivation

국문 초록 (Abstract)

직업 가치관은 아동기에 형성되어 미래의 진로선택에 영향을 미치는 주요요인으로 작용하기 때문에 학령기 초기부터 세심하게 다루어져야 한다. 문헌연구에서 지금까지 직업 가치관과 관련하여 가장 빈번하게 언급되어온 변인 중 하나가 성이라고 할 수 있다. 과거에는 주로 성에 따라 차이가 발생하는 것으로 연구결과가 보고되었으나 현재는 차이가 없는 추세라고 보고되고 있기 때문에 우리나라 초등학생에 대한 연구가 필요하다. 또한 진로성숙도와 성취동기도 아동의 직업 가치관과 관련성이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 아동이 내적 직업 가치관 혹은 외적 직업 가치관 을 소유하는 결정요인으로 성, 성취동기, 진로성숙 수준을 고려하였다. 우선 전국적으로 초등학교 5학년, 6학년 학생 1,000명을 표집하여 이들을 대상으로 직업 가치관 현황에 대하여 살펴보고 실제로 내적ㆍ외적 직업가치관 집단에 속하는 424명을 선정하였다. 이들을 연구대상으로 내적ㆍ외적 직업 가치관 집단으로 구분하는 결정 요인은 무엇인지 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 유의미한 결정 요인은 진로성숙도와 성취동기였으며, 진로성숙도와 성취동기 수준이 높은 아동일수록 내적인 직업 가치관을 소유하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과는 진로교육을 통해 아동이 바람직한 직업 가치관을 갖도록 하는 방안을 찾는데 시사점을 제공하고 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The prime purpose of this study is to find out what factors to decide elementary school students' intrinsic and extrinsic work values about sex, career maturity, achievement motivation. In this study, utilized objects of the study was Korean elementary school students; A total of 1,000 students in the age range of 12 and 13. Acturally 424 students had intrinsic or extrinsic work values. The findimg from the current study reported that the factor to decide elementary school students' intrinsic and extrinsic work values was the career maturity and achievement motivation. Conclusionally The results of the study showed that in early childhood improving the career maturity and achievement motivation for children is a matter of great importance to career education.
