미적요소에 대한 탐색활동이 유아의 미적요소에 대한 이해 및 미적요소에 기초한 감상능력에 미치는 영향: 선과 색을 중심으로 = An Effect of explorative activities for Understanding of aesthetic elements and Ability of aesthetic elements-based appreciation: focused on line and color

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to find understanding of the aesthetic elements of art and ability of aesthetic elements-based appreciation through explorative activities. The subjects were 57 5-year-old children attending kindergarten in G city and divided two groups. The research questions were 1) Does the experiences of explorative activities based on aesthetic elements have effects on the understanding of aesthetic elements. 2) Does the experiences of explorative activities based on the aesthetic elements have effects on the ability of aesthetic elements-based appreciation. The experimental and comparison group participated in art appreciation activities 10 times which centered on line and color. The experimental group took part in 16 explorative activities which dealt with chracteristics of aesthetic elements of line and color. The results reveal statistically significant diffrences between the post-test scores of the experimental and comparison group. In conclusion, 1) The experiences of explorative activities based on the aesthetic elements have influence on the understanding of aesthetic elements of art effectively. 2) The experiences of explorative activities based on the aesthetic elements have effects on enhancement of ability of aesthetic elements-based appreciation.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 미적요소에 대한 탐색활동 경험이 미적요소의 이해에 미치는 영향과 미적요소에 기초한 감상능력에 미치는 영향을 밝힘으로써 유아를 위한 바람직한 감상교육을 위한 전략 수립의 기초를 모색함에 있다. 본 연구의 대상은 만 5세 2학급의 유아 57명으로 유아들의 평균월령은 73.9월이다. 연구를 위해 선과 색에 대한 미적이해 수준과 감상능력에 대한 사전․사후 검사를 실시하였으며, 실험집단과 비교집단 모두 10회의 선과 색 관련 그림 감상활동을 실시하였고, 실험집단은 선과 색의 특성을 탐색해 볼 수 있는 교구활동을 실시하였다. 수집된 자료는 t-검증을 통해 실험집단과 비교집단간의 차이를 분석하였고, 필요한 부분에 대해 질적인 분석을 병행하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 미적요소인 선과 색에 대한 탐색활동 경험은 선과 색에 대한 미적이해의 증진에 긍정적 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 미적 요소인 선과 색에 대한 탐색활동 경험은 미적 요소에 기초한 감상능력 향상을 도모하였다.
