The goal of this study is to find out effects of marketing mix to the customer satisfaction and how it affects their intention of revisit to the indoor golf practice range; this is to provide basic data to establish an effective marketing strategy in running the indoor golf practice range business. To achieve the aforesaid goal, the survey was run through convenience sampling with 500 customers at 7 different indoor golf practice range in Seoul, Gyeonggi region that have more than 13 tee spots and with more than 80 members registered per month. The survey was to be completed in self-administration method.
The measurement tool for data collection was the survey, and as for its suitability of structure and content, it was verified by the research experts, and having obtained Cronbach’α= .934~.762, it was judged that the survey was very trustworthy.
500 copies of survey (100%) were distributed, and the surveys that were deemed to be superficial and those that had part missing in answers to the survey questions (38 copies, 7.7%) were omitted, and the total of 462 copies (92.4%) were used for this study.
Also, as for the statistical methods used during data analysis; Frequency Analysis, Descriptive Analysis, Internal Consistency Reliability, Factor Analysis, t-test(Independent Samples t-test, One-way ANOVA, Correlation Relation, and Multiple Linear Regression were used.
Through aforementioned research methods and procedures, the result obtained for effects of Marketing Mix to Indoor Golf Practice Range Customer Satisfaction and Revisit analysis are as the following.
Firstly, the main attribute to the effects of marketing mix for indoor golf practice range, the product it self had the highest score at, 3.88 point, followed by price (3.53), location (3.53), and promotion (2.87).
Secondly, when the indoor golf practice range marketing mix according to the variable backgrounds were reviewed; firstly, as for sex, at more than p<.05, had no real differences in regards to the attributes, price, location and promotion, but showed definite differences in the attributes, age, income, usage duration, partner, intention in use, gaining information, at p<.05. Also, as or average number strokes, the product attribute showed definite difference at p<.05; as for number of use per week, the product attribute showed definite difference at p<.01, and as for price, location and promotion attributes, they showed definite differences at p<.05. As for reasons in choosing the indoor golf practice range, the product, price and promotion attributes showed definite differences at p<.001, and lastly, as for improvement areas, the product, location and promotion attributes showed definite differences at p<.01.
Thirdly, when the relationship between the marketing mix attributes of indoor golf practice range and the customer satisfaction was reviewed; product attribute (β=.187), price attribute (β=.330), location attribute (β=.262) and promotion attribute (β=.172) all shown to have strong effects to customer satisfaction.
Fourthly, when the relationship between the marketing mix attributes of indoor golf practice range and the customer's intention of revisit was reviewed; the location attribute (β=.097) showed that it affects either directly or indirectly towards customer's intention of revisit, and product attribute (β=.331) and price attribute (β=.211) were shown to have direct effects.
Fifthly, when the relationship between the marketing mix attributes of indoor golf practice range and the customers' intention of spreading through word of mouth, was reviewed; product attribute (β=.288) and location attribute (β=.160) showed both indirect and direct effects, and the price attribute (β=.138) showed direct effect.
