대학생의 진로장애 예기와 진로발달의 관계에서 자기효능감의 매개효과 검증 = Testing the Mediating Effect of General Self-Efficacy in the Relation Between Anticipated Career Barriers and Career Development

The present study was conducted to test the mediating effect of general self-efficacy in the relation between anticipated career barriers and career development. The sample of the present study consisted of 361 college students. The participants completed questionaries of anticipated career barriers, general self-efficacy and career development. The data were analyzed by conducting correlation analysis and structural equation modeling analysis.
The results showed that the partial mediation model showed a better fit than the full mediation model. General self-efficacy mediated the relation between anticipated career barriers and career development.
The results imply that stuednts' anticipated career barriers appeared to affect career development via general self-efficacy. Therefore, their career development is high when their general self-efficacy is high and anticipated career barriers is less. The implications of the present findings for intervening general self-efficacy in depressed students were offered. Finally limitations of the current study and recommendations for further research were discussed.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 대학생의 미래 진로장애 예기와 진로발달의 관계에서 일반적 자기효능감의 매개효과를 검증하기 위해 수행되었다. 이를 위하여 대전 및 충남에 소재하는 대학교 재학생 361명을 대상으로 진로장애 예기 척도, 일반적 자기효능감 척도, 진로발달 척도를 사용하여 실시하였다. 자료분석은 측정변인 간 상관분석, 구조방정식모형 분석을 활용하여 연구가설을 검증하였다.
결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 진로장애 예기를 예언변인으로, 진로발달을 결과변인으로, 일반적 자기효능감을 매개변인으로 설정한 부분매개모형이 적합한 모형으로 판명되었다. 미래 진로장애를 적게 예상하고 기대할수록 일반적 자기효능감 수준이 높았고 진로발달 수준이 높았다. 진로장애 예기와 진로발달의 관계에서 일반적 자기효능감이 갖는 매개효과가 유의하였다. 이러한 결과는 대학생들의 진로장애 예기가 미래의 진로발달을 촉진하는 과정에 직접적으로 영향을 줄 뿐만 아니라 일반적 자기효능감이 매개함을 보여주는 것으로, 졸업 후 취업이라는 진로를 앞두고 불안해하고 있는 대학생들에게 할 수 있다는 진로장애 예기 감소, 자기효능감 증진 개입활동이 제공되어야 함을 시사한다. 마지막으로 본 연구의 제한점과 제언을 논의하였다.
