몽골이주가정 자녀 학교적응의 영향요인: 다문화적 특성과 사회적 지지의 영향을 중심으로 = Factors affecting school adjustment of Mongolian children and adolescents Living in Korea: With a special focus on a multicultural characteristics and social supports

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purposes of this study was to identify influential factors affecting on school adjustment of Mongolian children and adolescents living in Korea, with a special focus on impact of multicultural factors and social supports. To answer the research question proposed by the study, a hierarchical regression analysis was executed with the sample of 145 Mongolian children and adolescents. Findings of the study showed that indicators of social supports(i.e., supports from teachers, peers, and family members) had significant positive relationships with levels of school adjustments, even after controlling for influences of demographic characteristics and multicultural factors in the sample. Along with major findings of the study, implications for social work practice were also discussed.
