초등학교 저 경력교사의 미술과 교육과정 운영에 관한 질적 연구

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to come up with a plan to provide support in the art curriculum implementation by elementary school teachers with less teaching experience and enhance their subject matter expertise in art lesson. Accordingly, how they are defining good art lesson and how they are actually implementing the curriculum for good art lesson were examined. The participants of this study are teachers with less than four years of teaching experience that are currently implementing art curriculum at elementary schools in Seoul. The following is a plan for providing support in the art curriculum implementation by elementary school teachers with less teaching experience and enhancing their subject matter expertise in art lesson based on the interview results. First, it is necessary to further reinforce the contents on ways to cultivate various philosophical thinking and concepts on good art lesson through teacher education & training programs. Second, it is necessary to allow teachers with less teaching experience to join organizations or groups specializing in curriculum implementation, as well as allow them to be in contact with other teachers with more teaching experiences during their first few years of teaching. Third, it is necessary to grant autonomy and authority to teachers including teachers with less teaching experience for their curriculum reorganization implementation, and various policy support measures need to be developed with high priority for enhancing their expertise. Lastly, it is necessary to alleviate the school work load for elementary school teachers with less experience at the school level. This study was conducted centering on art subject among art, music & physical education subjects. Accordingly, it would be necessary to conduct a subsequent study on music and physical education subject regarding the curriculum implementation and support plan for teachers with less experience. « Key Words : teachers with less teaching experience, art curriculum implementation, teacher education.
