지역사회경험학습의 전문대학 적용을 위한 이론적 기초 = A Theoretical Bases for the applying method of Community Based Learning to community college

국문 초록 (Abstract)

현재의 전문대학 교육은 미래의 지식기반사회가 요구하는 인력을 양성하기 위해 새로운 교육방법을 모색해야 한다. 이러한 시대적 흐름의 요구에 따라 대두된 지역사회경험학습이 실제적인 교수학습방법으로 자리 잡기 위해서는 이론적 체계 정립이 필요하다. 따라서 본 연구는 지역사회경험학습의 개념 및 이론적 배경, 기본가정 및 특징, 구성요소, 기존 교수학습방법과의 차이를 탐색함으로써 지역사회경험학습에 대한 이론적 고찰을 시도하였다. 이를 위해 첫째, 지역사회경험학습의 이론적 근거가 되는 경험학습, 구성주의, 인지주의에 관하여 기술하였다. 둘째, 지역사회경험학습의 개념과 구성요소를 밝히고, 전문대학에의 적용방법을 구상하였다. 마지막으로, 지역사회경험학습의 교육적 가치를 논의하기 위해서 기대되는 성과 및 효과를 분석하였다. 또한 지역사회경험학습이 실제 교육에 적용될 경우, 그 교육적 시사점을 학습자중심 수업으로 전환, 전문대학의 직업교육 책무성에 기여, 좋은 수업중심으로 고찰하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The current community college education should seek a new teaching method to educate manpower which is demanded in the knowledge-based society of the future. In an increased demand for this trend, Community Based Learning(CBL) came to the fore. For CBL to be set up as a practical teaching-learning method, there is a need for establishing theoretical system of CBL. Therefore, this study carried out the theoretical analysis of CBL by investigating its concept, theoretical backgrounds, basic assumptions, characteristics, components, and the differences between and existing teaching-learning methods.
The main focus of the interest in this study was shown through the following three aspects. First, experiential learning, constructivism, and cognitivism which are the theoretical bases of CBL were described. Second, concepts and components of local society experimental study have been identified, and reorganized the applying method for the community college. Finally, expected performances and effects were analysed in discussion on the educational value of CBL. And some pedagogical implications of CBL related to the practical education were suggested focusing on the shift to the learner-centered instruction, the contribution to vocational education accountability of community college, and the good teaching between teacher and students.
