초등학생의 학업스트레스, 학업탄력성과 학업성취 간의 구조적 관계 = Structural Relationships Among Academic Stress, Academic Resilience and Academic Achievement of Elementary School Student

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 학업스트레스가 학업탄력성에 의해 매개되어 학업성취에 영향을 미치는 세 변인간의 구조관계를 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 부산광역시에 소재하는 초등학생 532명을 대상으로 학업스트레스, 학업탄력성 및 학업성취 척도로 구성된
설문을 실시하였으며, 그 중 491부(남학생 234명, 여학생 257명)를 구조방정식 모형 접근법을 사용하여 분석하였다. 그 결과 부분매개모형인 연구모형1이 완전매개모형인 연구모형2 보다 더 적합한 것으로 나타났다. 연구모형1의 결과를 살펴보면 첫째, 학업스트레스는 학업성취에 부정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 학업스트레스는 학업탄력성에도 부정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 학업탄력성은 학업성취에 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 학업스트레스가 학업성취에 미치는 영향에 있어서 학업탄력성에 의해 매개되어 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과는 학업스트레스가 초등학생의 학업성취에 직접적으로 영향을 미칠 뿐만 아니라 학업탄력성에 의해 매개되어 학업성취에 간접적으로도 영향을 줄수 있음을 보여주었다. 따라서 초등학생을 위한 학업지도시 학업스트레스와 이를 극복하여 학업성취를 도울 수 있는 학업탄력성에 대한 인식 및 학업탄력성 증진을 위해 학생이 가지고 있는 개인내적 요소와 환경적 요소에 대한 탐색이 이루어져야 한다는 점을 시사한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to explore the structural relationship of academic stress, academic resilience and academic achievement of elementary school student.
The subjects of this study were 491 students(male 234, female 257) who were elementary students in Busan. The instrument used in this study were academic stress scale, academic resilience scale and the score of students final exam. Results from structural equation modeling analyses indicated that a research model produced
a better fit to the data than a alternative structural model. The research model shows the following results: First, academic stress have a direct influence on academic achievement. Second, academic resilience mediated the relationship between academic stress and academic achievement. In conclusion, the results of this research
empirically support the academic stress model that contends the notion that academic stress affects academic achievement through academic resilience. These results show the need to revise the current model and to develop a more detailed and comprehensive one that takes into account various variables that influence the academic achievement. Limitations of this study and implications for future studies were discussed.
