This thesis starts with a question of how to recognize and approach the human view of the correction administration in uncertain modern society. In the human view of the correction administration, there is a question of how to seek the purpose of punishment to prevent the recurrence of crimes in the binary relationship between punishment and edification, and how to resolve their confrontational relationship. This method of resolution can be understood in the context of posthumanism at the modern level.
Among the various ills of uncertain modern society, one of the representative problems of social conflict is crime. Therefore, the matter of correctional education for criminals is emerging as a more serious and important social issue than ever. This thesis would like to be approached the problem from the posthumanism's trans-boundary and the changing penetration view of the Zhouyi. Unlike other criminal laws, correction has an independent class of perception with the ideology of "correction and healthy return to society of prisoners", and this is regared as a best goal. The way to achieving that goal can be found in the human view of the Zhouyi, especially in value of the human healing.
Looking at correctional ideology and paradigm, despite many changes depending on time and place, the state still remains in unilaterally punishing or educating criminals and is facing limitations. This can be attributed to the traditional human view of the west, which has traditionally regard human as a imperfect being and passive objects in the pretext of improvement or edification. Matter of correction is not a simple matter of artificial improvement through unilateral punishment, education, or edification. Fundamental purpose of criminal correction is to heal social conflicts and further restore damaged humanity. Therefore, realization of genuine correction must follow understanding of humans.
Future correction requires the establishment of a new correctional paradigm based on community perceptions among members of society. This is possible when a complicity conscious that all can be assailants and a conscious of sharing that all can be victims become common. In other words, it can be achieved by establishing a conscious of community responsibility internalized through self-reflection and other-centered identity. Therefore, in correction administration, attitude to repent, heal and recover before unilateral punishment or education is necessary, transcending the rigid dichotomy between punishment and edification. Through this process of change, the correction administration will be possible to reborn as an area that actively leads social integration, away from the role of being passively prescribed postmortem.
