여행 한국어 교재 개발을 위한 어휘·표현 연구 : 10˜20대 일본인 학습자 요구를 중심으로 = A Basic Study on the Development of Travel Korean Textbooks -Focusing on the needs of Japanese learners in their teens and 20s-

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 특수 목적에 속하는 여행 한국어의 교재와 이에 관한 연구가 부족하다는 문제 의식을 바탕으로 일본인 학습자의 한국 여행에 대한 요구와 교재에서 요구되는 어휘와 표현을 밝히는 것을 목적으로 한다. 코로나19를 극복한 현재 한국에 여행으로 방문하는 일본인이 증가함에 따라 여행 한국어에 대한 수요가 증가하고 있다. 그러나 현재 출간되어 있는 기존 여행한국어 교재는 일본인 학습자가 선호하는 내용으로 구성되어 있지 않다. 이에 일본인 학습자들의 여행을 위한 한국어 학습 동기를 유발시키며 효과적으로 학습할 수 있는 연구가 필요하다.
본 연구에서는 방한 일본인 관광객 중 많은 비율을 차지한 연령대 10대와 20대를 대상으로 설문 조사를 실시하여 일본인 학습자가 선호하는 한국 여행과 이에 관한 한국어 사용 선호도를 어휘와 표현에 나누어서 분석하였다. 분석한 결과 각 영역에서 유의미한 값을 얻을 수 있었다. 특히 기존 여행 한국어 교재의 단원 구성과 일본인 학습자가 요구하는 단원에는 차이가 있었음을 알 수 있었다. 또한 기존 여행 한국어 교재의 문제점을 조사 결과를 통하여 파악할 수 있었다. 본 연구에서 밝힌 여러 유의미한 결과들은 일본인 학습자들을 위한 여행용 한국어 교재 개발에 도움이 될 것으로 생각된다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to address the awareness of the insufficient research on materials for specialized-purpose travel-oriented Korean language. Based on this awareness, the research seeks to explore the demands of Japanese learners in relation to their travel experiences in Korea and the vocabulary and expressions required in textbooks for such purposes. The growing number of Japanese visitors to Korea, particularly post-covid 19 era, has led to an increased demand for learning Korean related to travel. However, the existing travel Korean language textbooks currently published do not contain contents preferred by Japanese learners. Therefore, there is a necessity for research aimed at instigating the motivation of Japanese learners to acquire Korean for travel purposes and to enable effective learning.
In this study, a survey was conducted on teenagers and people in their 20s, both of which accounted for a large proportion of Japanese tourists visiting Korea. The survey analyzed the travel preference of Japanese learners and their Korean usage by dividing them into vocabulary and expressions. As a result of the analysis, significant values were obtained in each area. In particular, it was found that there was a difference between the composition structure of the existing travel Korean textbook and the unit required by Japanese learners. In addition, the problems of the existing travel Korean textbook could be grasped through the results of the survey. Several meaningful results revealed in this study are thought to be helpful in developing Korean language textbooks for travel for Japanese learners.
