4월혁명과 세대론적 기획 : 1960년대 초 소설 속 남성 젠더 수행을 중심으로 = The April Revolution and Generation Identifying Project: Focusing on Gender Performance of Male Subjects in Early 1960’s Fictions

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This paper aims to analyze how the generation identifying projects take advantage of male gender performance of subjects who did (or were regarded to) lead the April Revolution in early 1960’s fictions. If the subjects leading the April Revolution had been imagined as male gender, it can be explained that characteristics of ‘4·19generation’ by investigating the logic of narrative of fictions justifying male subjects. In the case that elder generation who had focused themselves described the revolution as the psychological opportunity for male characters, however in the case they had focused 4·19 generation, they regarded the conflict between generations as the fight between the father and the son, that made the conflict less serious. It made they try to band together 4·19 generation in their fictions, but that is not always successful. Because The Prose Age tells us 4·19 generation stated to reject to the elder generation and strengthen their identification. Although the elder generation request and prepare for the 4·19 generation, the rejection by 4·19 generation made themselves higher in literary history and hid the condition of their hegemony.
