국립대학 학생의 중도탈락 요인에 관한 근거이론 기반 분석 = A grounded theory-based analysis on the factors that causing dropout of students in Korean national universities

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to research the students who voluntarily withdrawal the university in halfway of studying. The analysis found out that they have experienced psychological and environmental factors before they entered the university. To verify this, I conducted in-depth interviews with 29 students who applied for leaving the university in halfway. As a result of research model and hypothesis, 48 concepts affecting the withdrawal of national universities were extracted. These concepts were classified into 23 subcategories by grouping similar attributes. In addition, through the categorization process among these subcategories, 11 categories are abstracted such as `learner background`, `admission objective`, `psychological effect`, `learner ability`, `learning`, `Support environment`, `local conditions`, `social awareness`, `interaction`, `content of education`, `education method` and `educational outcome`. Also, the relationship between these categories and subcategories was identified after classifying into learner factors, structural factors, and university experience factors.
