유아교육기관 유아 안전사고의 잠재적 요인에 관한 연구 = Oh! It could have been dangerous. -Research on potential factors of child safety accident In kindergartens-

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This research is aimed at the prevention of and finding out what are the motives of children safety accidents occurring in Early Childhood Educational Institutions. The participant observation took place from September 2012 to February 2013, targeting 2 classes of four and five year old children from each Ga-eul Kindergarten and Kyu-ul Kindergarten. In order to eliminate all the possible errors that can be occurred by data collection from participant observation, this research also used the triangulation suggested by Denzin(1978). First, children interacting with physical factors caused motives of safety accidents to occur ``instantly.`` Second, children interacting with teachers revealed motives of safety accidents to occur ``instantly,`` ``concurrently,`` and ``in series. ``Third, children interacting with their peers cause motives of safety accidents to occur ``instantly`` and concurrently.`` Through this research, the process of interactions between children and physical factors, children and teachers or their peers was able to be understood more deeply and by analyzing the results of these interactions and motives, the research could produce effective information on the prevention of children safety accidents happening in Early Childhood Educational Institutions.
