교육소외에 미치는 영향요인 분석: 대안교육 학생과 일반학생 비교 = The Factors Affecting Educational Alienation: Focus on Differences between Alternative School Students and General Students

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study is designed to explore factors affecting educational alienation using the multi-regression analysis method. We collected data for 94 of school maladjustment students and 249 of general students. The results are as follows: The key factor affecting educational alienation among both groups of students was self-esteem. A high level of self-esteem is suggested as having a strong influence on reducing educational alienation. More interestingly, peer relationship had a significant effect on decreasing educational alienation only among general students. That is, peer relationship as a form of social support would be an important factor in preventing students from becoming alienated.
Taken together, the findings of this study indicate that various educational programs should be designed to help avoid alienation and to help alienated students overcome the problem.
