구스타프 클림트 작품을 모티브로 한 헤어디자인 연구 = A Hair Design Study That Utilizes the Works of Gustav Klimt as Motifs

국문 초록 (Abstract)

현대사회는 헤어스타일이 이미지를 결정하는 요소로 매우 중요한 위치를 차지하고 있으며 이런 고객의 욕구를 충족시키기 위하여 개성 있고 독창적인 헤어스타일의 다변화를 위하여 새로운 아이디어가 필요한 실정이다. 이를 위하여 예술 분야와 디자인 분야의 교류와 협력을 통한 새로운 헤어디자인이 요구되고 있으며 예술 작품의 접목을 통하여 창의적이고 예술성 있는 헤어디자인을 개발하고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 구스타프 클림트 작품의 특징과 색채를 분석하고, 이를 모티브로 하여 헤어 작품을 제작함으로써 다양한 아이디어의 모티브를 제공하고, 헤어 작품을 제작하는 과정을 통해 개성 있고 창의적인 헤어디자인의 방향을 제시하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 구스타프 클림트 작품과 헤어디자인에 대한 문헌, 정기 간행물, 인터넷 자료, 선행논문 등의 자료를 바탕으로 고찰하였고, 구스타프 클림트의 특징적인 표현법이 잘 나타나는 활동 시기를 분류하여 대표 작품의 특징과 색채를 분석하였다. 이를 모티브로 설정하여 유기적인 곡선 2작품, 기하학적인 도형 2작품으로 하여 총 4작품의 연구를 진행하였다. 본 연구는 구스타프 클림트의 작품을 활용하여 헤어컬러링이나 헤어스타일링에 관한 헤어디자인 연구는 미비한 실정으로 창의적인 아이디어를 헤어디자인으로 체계화한 것과 창의적인 헤어디자인의 방향을 제시하는데 그 의의가 있다. 향후 연구에서는 작가들의 회화작품과 시대사조를 모티브로 하여 헤어디자인 한다면 좀 더 다양하고 창의적인 아이디어 발상의 계기가 될 것이다. 더하여 구스타프 클림트 작품을 활용한 헤어디자인 분야별로 좀 더 깊이 있게 연구한다면 창의적인 아이디어를 확장할 기회가 될 것이라 기대한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

In modern society, hairstyle occupies a very important position as an element that determines image. Currently, new ideas are needed for the satisfaction of customer needs and for the diversification of their hairstyles. For this, new hair designs are being demanded through the mutual exchange and cooperation of the fields of art and design and creative and artistic hair designs are being developed through the grafting of artworks. At this, the purpose of this study is to analyze the characteristics and colors of Gustav Klimt’s works, produce hair works using his works as motifs, provide motifs for diverse ideas through creative hair design, and present unique and creative directions for hair design through the process of producing hair works. Examinations were made based on material such as literature, periodicals, internet data, and previous papers on the works of Gustav Klimt and hair design, and after activity periods which represent the characteristic expression methods of Gustav Klimt were classified, analysis was conducted on the characteristics and colors of his representative works. This was established as a motif and research was conducted on a total of four works including two with organic curves and two with geometric figures. This study is meaningful in that it systemized creative ideas into hair designs in a state in which there is little research on hair design utilizing the works of Gustav Klimt and it presents direction for creative hair design. If hair is designed using the paintings of artists and the trends of the times as motifs in future research, this will allow for more diverse and creative ideas. In addition, more in-depth research conducted by each hair design field utilizing the work of Gustav Klimt will provide opportunities to expand creative ideas.
