대학생의 내현적 자기애와 관계중독의 관계에서 인지적 정서조절전략의 매개효과 = The Mediating Effect of Cognitive Emotion Regulation Strategies on the Relationship between Covert Narcissism and Relationship Addiction of College Students

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 대학생의 내현적 자기애와 인지적 정서조절전략 및 관계중독 간의 관계를 살펴보고, 내현적 자기애와 인지적(적응적∙부적응적) 정서조절전략이 관계중독에 미치는 영향을 알아보며, 나아가 내현적 자기애가 인지적 정서조절전략을 매개로 관계중독에 유의미한 영향을 미치는지 알아 보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 선행연구 분석을 통해 연구모형을 설정하였으며 변인 간의 관계를 확인하고 모형을 분석하였다. 본 연구의 대상은 전국 대학에 재학중인 1-4학년 남녀 대학생 352명을 대상으로 하여 내현적 자기애척도, 인지적 정서조절전략 척도, 관계중독 척도를 사용하여 온라인설문조사를 실시하였다. 이에 불성실한 응답을 보인 설문지 2부를 제외한 350명의 자료를 최종 분석에 사용하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 26.0과 SPSS PROCESS macro. 4.2를 활용하여 기술통계 및 상관분석을 실시하였으며 연구모형을 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 대학생의 내현적 자기애와 부적응적 인지적 정서조절전략, 관계중독 간 유의미한 정적 상관을 나타내었다. 그러나 적응적인 인지적 정서조절전략과 관계중독 간에는 유의미한 상관이 나타나지 않았다. 둘째, 부적응적 인지적 정서조절전략은 내현적 자기애와 관계중독 사이에서 부분매개하는것으로 나타났다. 위와 같은 결과에 따라 내현적 자기애, 인지적 정서조절전략, 관계중독 간의 관계를 확인할 수 있었다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This research examines the relationship between college students' covert narcissism, cognitive emotion regulation strategies, and relationship addiction. It investigates the influence of covert narcissism and cognitive (adaptive vs. maladaptive) emotion regulation strategies on relationship addiction. Furthermore, it aims to determine whether covert narcissism significantly affects relationship addiction through cognitive emotion regulation strategies. To achieve this, the study establishes a research model through an analysis of previous studies, confirms relationships between variables, and conducts model analyses.
The study includes 352 male and female college students from various universities across the country, ranging from first to fourth-year students. They participated in an online survey utilizing measures for covert narcissism, cognitive emotion regulation strategies, and relationship addiction. Out of these participants, data from 350 individuals (excluding two respondents showing inconsistent responses) were used for the final analysis.
The collected data underwent descriptive statistics and correlation analyses using SPSS 26.0 and SPSS PROCESS macro 4.2. The research model was also analyzed.
The findings of this study are as follows.
First, covert narcissism showed significant static correlations with maladaptive cognitive emotion regulation strategies and relationship addiction. However, no significant correlation was found between adaptive cognitive emotion regulation strategies and relationship addiction.
Second, maladaptive cognitive emotion regulation strategies were identified as partially mediating between covert narcissism and relationship addiction.
Based on these analysis results, the study confirms relationships between covert narcissism, cognitive emotion regulation strategies, and relationship addiction.
