대학생의 사회 정치에 대한 인식이 국가정체성에 미치는 영향 = The Effect of University Students’Social and Political Awareness on National Identity

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 대학생들의 사회 정치의식이 국가정체성에 미치는 영향을 경험적으로 분석 하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 대학생들이 본인과 형제, 자매, 부모, 이웃과의 사회ּ 정치 대화정도는 대학생들의 국가정체성에 긍정적인 영향을 미칠 수 있다. 둘째, 대학생들의 사회 정치의 매체 즉, TV, 라디오, 신문, 잡지, 인터넷의 접촉정도는 대학생들의 국가정체성과 상관관계가 있다. 셋째, 상기 5가지 매체의 사회 정치의 보도에 대한 대학생들의 신뢰도가 그들의 국가정체성과 상관관계가 있을 가능성이 있다는 것이다. 즉, 사회ּ 정치 대화정도, 사회 정치 접촉도, 사회 정치 신뢰도가 높을수록 국가정체성에 긍정적인 영향을 줄 가능성이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 대학생들에게 사회와 정치에 대한 담론의 충분한 기회를 제공하고, 다양한 매체를 통한 사회 정치의 참여의 경험과, 매체를 통해 경험하는 사회 및 정치에 대한 신뢰도를 높일 수 있는 정책이나 홍보가 필요함을 의미한다고 볼 수 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The research performed empirical analysis about the effect of university students’ social and political awareness on national identity. The result of the research is as follows. Firstly, students who have conversation about politics and society with their siblings, parents and neighbors can have positive effect on national identity. Secondly, students’ level of contact with social, political media including TV, radio, newspapers, magazines and internet has strong correlation with national identity. Thirdly, students’ trust on social and political reports in above 5 media may have correlation with their national identity. Therefore, the higher level of social, political conversation, social, political contact and social, political trust, the more positive effect may occur in national identity. Such result shows that it is required to provide opportunities for university students to discuss about social and political issues, and policies or promotions are also needed to increase social and political trust that can be experienced and participated through various media.
