This study was conducted for the purpose of exploring the couple's conflict and their upbringing attitude of internationally married couple focusing on the family circumstances of factors thought to affect the inadaptability to the school life of constantly increasing their children to create practical knowledge helpful to their adjustment, finally examining the effect of their couple's conflict and upbringing attitude on their children's adjustment, and enhancing their adaptability degree.
To achieve the goal, looked into the couple's conflict degree and their upbringing attitude of internationally married couple, and grasped the effect of internationally married women's perception on their children's adaptability to the school life. The subjects were the internationally married women asnd their children, whose data were performed from May 02 to Jul. 27, 2007. The sampling were not collected by probability due to the characteristic of the study subject, , so as a random sampling, 184 copies were given out with help of social workers and immigration women's human rights activists from 12 agencies in Gyeonggi-do and Choongcheong-do, of them 161 were gathered up, and 154 were finally used except for 7 with unhonest responses or erroneous measures
First, each item average and standard deviation between independent and subordinate variables was verified, multi-common-linearity to explore the relation between independent variables, and Pearson's simple correlation analysis was carried out to catch the correlation between independent and subordinate variables, Stepwise Regression was carried out to get an answer to review the effect of the couple's conflict and upbringing attitude on the children's adjustment.
The study findings did not adopt the hypothesis that the issues of economic conflict, sexual dissatisfaction, and attacking action and communication problems would have a negative effect on their children's adjustment to the school life, the reason for which is thought to be that the average grades of the study subjects were in their low position, so the issue of school adjustment is not revealed yet, and accepted the hypothesis that affectionate and autonomous attitude of the parents' upbringing attitudes would have a positive effect on their adjustment to school, but the hypothesis that love-controlled upbringing attitude would have a negative effect is rather positively affected. Differently from this researcher's intention to measure the control of negative meaning, actual respondents' perception to the question measuring controlled upbringing attitude are judged to contain positive meaning.
The implication to be obtained from this finding are as follows: first, that the effect of couple conflict definitively affects their children, but the conflict or evil is not transmitted to the children, so the internationally married couples tend to fundamentally cause conflict, but the effect can be buffered by the interventions such as the relation of grandparents, and extended family, peers or teachers' or neighbors' support: second, due to the significance of mother's upbringing attitude has valued the mother's role in our society, which is same in the internationally married homes.
The children's issue of internationally married homes is not limited to home issue, but directly connected to social issues, so social concern should be concentrated on the children of internationally married homes.
