살인범들의 어린시절 가정환경이 누범화에 미치는 영향 - 성장기 비행의 매개효과 - = The Influence of Homicide Offenders’Childhood Family Environment on Criminalization - Mediating Effects of Growing delinquency -

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 범죄자가 범죄를 저지르게 된 여러 가지 요인 중 어린시절 가정환경의 영향이 생애동안 범죄의 축적에 유의한 영향 을 미치는지를 살인범죄자를 중심으로 살펴보고자 하였다. 또한 어린시절 가정환경과 범죄와의 관계에서 학창시절 처벌경험과 최초 경찰입건연령의 매개효과를 검증함으로써 가정환경의 중요성과 청소년 비행의 상관관계, 나아가서 만성적인 범죄에 영향을 미치는지를 알아보고자 하였다. 연구결과 어린시절의 부정적 가정환경은 학창시절 처벌경험에 정적영향을 미치고 최초 경찰입건 연령에는 부적영향이 나타났다. 또한 종속변인인 총범죄 횟수, 중범죄 건수, 교정시설 수용기간에 직접적으로 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 학창시절 처벌경험과 최초 경찰입건연령의 매개효과는 총범죄 횟수와 교정시설 수용기간에는 유의한 것으로 나타 났으나 중범죄 건수에는 유의하지 않았다. 이와 같은 연구결과는 어린시절 가정환경의 영향이 성장기 비행경험을 거쳐 만성적인 범죄자로 이어질 가능성이 높음을 시사하고 있다. 따라서 성장기 발달에 있어 가정의 중요성을 환기하고 안정적인 환경에서 성장 할 수 있도록 돕고, 일찍 비행에 노출된 청소년들의 사회적 지지체계를 향상시킴으로써 만성적인 범죄자로 가는 길목을 차단하기 위한 다각적인 방안이 필요하다. 또한 개개인에 대한 어린시절의 가정환경과 비행을 유발하는 다양한 요인을 파악하고 이를 해결 하기 위한 더 많은 연구가 진행되어야 할 것이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study attempted to examine whether the influence of childhood family environment significantly affects the accumulation of crimes during life among the various factors that caused criminals to commit crimes, focusing on homicide offenders. In addition, by examining the mediating effect of school punishment experience and the age of initial police book in the relationship between childhood family environment and crime, we tried to find out the importance of family environment, the correlation between juvenile delinquency, and even chronic crimes. As a result of the study, a negative family environment during childhood had a positive effect on the experience of punishment during school years and a negative effect on the age of first police book. In addition, it was found that the dependent variables directly affect the total number of crimes, the number of serious crimes, and the period of accommodation in correctional facilities. The mediating effect of the experience of punishment in school and the age of initial police book was found to be significant in the total number of crimes and the period of acceptance of correctional facilities, but not in the number of serious crimes. These findings suggest that the influence of the family environment in childhood is likely to lead to chronic criminals through the experience of delinquendy during the juvenile. Therefore, various measures are needed to block the path to chronic criminals by evoking the importance of the family in the development of the growing season, helping them grow in a stable environment, and improving the social support system of adolescents exposed to delinquency early. In addition, more research should be conducted to identify and solve the various factors that cause delinquency in childhood for individuals.
