This study attempted to establish a radiological technologist's (RT’s) echocardiography education class goal and to confirm the effect of RT’s pre-experience on the learning goal difficulty. The subjects of the study were 32 of RT’s and cardiac sonographer (CS) working at medical institutions. The survey was conducted on a Likert 5-point scale by deriving demographic characteristics from 4 questionnaires, pre-experiences ultrasound from 3 questionnaires (external ultrasound scan experience, registered diagnostic cardiac sonographer licence acquisition, advanced practical RT of clinic sonographer (echo) licence acquisition, and 45 sub-learning goals based on 8 concepts. As a statistical analysis, demographic characteristics and ultrasound pre-experiences were frequency -analysis. And the Mann-Whitney test independent sample T-test nonparametric test was performed to test the significance of learning target difficulty according to demographic characteristics and ultrasound pre-experiences. Statistical significance was determined using the Kruskal-Wallis test one-way variance analysis (ANOVA) for the ultrasound pre-experience group and the ultrasound non pre-experience group. As a post-test, there was a significant difference if the p-value was 0.05 or less using the least significant difference (LSD). As a result, as for the difficulty of the learning goal for echocardiography, the quality control proficiency was 3.42±1.29 points, the understanding of cardiac pathology was 3.35±1.08 points, and the deciphering ability of cardiac medical images was 3.35±1.30 points. As for the average learning goal difficulty of the‘ultrasound pre-experience group’, the report writing proficiency was 3.20 points, cardiac pathology understanding was 3.25 points, and quality control proficiency was 2.80 points. As for the average learning goal difficulty of the‘ultrasound non pre-experience group’ was 3.74 points, cardiac medical image decoding ability was 3.63 points, and cardiac pathology understanding was 3.52 points. The period of time it to perform the scan independently was‘the quality control proficience',‘the deciphering ability of cardiac medical images', ‘the understanding of cardiac pathology' were the highest at 6 months or more. Through the derived results, RT’s one of the CS beginners is an empirically required learning goal in the fields of quality control, cardiology pathology, and the deciphering ability of cardiac medical images. Therefore, it is expected that the results of this study can be used as basic data in the field of echocardiography education by presenting learning goals suitable for the pre-experience of ultrasound for CS beginners.

본 연구는 방사선사의 심장초음파 교육 수업목표를 수립하고 방사선사의 초음파 선행경험이 학습목표 난이도에 미치는 영향을 확인하고자 하였다. 연구대상은 의료기관에 근무 중인 방사선사이면서 심장초음파사인 32명을 대상으로 설문조사를 진행하였다. 설문내용은 인구학적 특성 4문항, 초음파 선행경험(심장 외 초음파 스캔 경험, 국제심장초음파 자격증 (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, RDCS) 취득 여부, 심장초음파 전문방사선사 자격 취득 여부) 3문항, 최종학습목표 8개의 개념에 따른 하위학습목표 45문항 도출하여 심장초음파 학습목표 난이도 분석도구를 개발하였고, 이를 이용하여 Likert 5점 척도로 조사연구를 실시하였다. 통계 분석은 인구학적 특성 및 초음파 선행경험을 빈도분석 하였고, 인구학적 특성에 따른 학습목표 난이도와 초음파 선행경험에 따른 학습목표 난이도의 유의성 검정을 위해 Mann-Whitne y test 독립표본 T-test 비모수 검정을 실시하였다. 초음파 선행경험 집단과 초음파 미선행경험 집단에 대해 Kruskal-wallis test 일원배치분산분석(analysis of variance, ANOVA)을 사용하여 통계적 유의성을 판단하였다. 이때 사후검정으로는 최소유의차(least significant difference, LSD)를 이용하여 p-value가 0.05 이하이면 유의한 차이가 있다고 정의하였다. 그 결과, 심장초음파 학습목표 난이도는 정도관리 숙련도가 3.42±1.29점, 심장병리학 이해도가 3.35± 1.08점, 심장의료영상 해독력이 3.35±1.30점 순으로 높게 나타났다.‘초음파 선행경험’집단의 평균 학습목표 난이도는 레포트(reoprt) 작성 숙련도가 3.20점, 심장병리학 이해도가 3.15점, 정도관리 숙련도가 2.80점 순으로 높은 학습목표 난이도를 나타냈다.‘초음파 선행미경험’ 집단의 평균 학습목표 난이도는 정도관리 숙련도가 3.74점, 심장의료영상 해독력이 3.63점, 심장병리학 이해도가 3.52점 순으로 높은 학습목표 난이도를 나타냈다. 독립적으로 검사를 수행하기까지 걸린 기간은 정도관리 숙련도, 심장의료영상 해독력, 심장병리학 이해도 총 세 가지 학습목표가 6개월 이상으로 가장 높게 나타났다. 도출된 결과를 통해 방사선사 심장초음파 입문자들은 정도관리와 심장병리학, 심장의료영상 해독 분야에 교육 활성화와 집중 학습이 요구된다. 따라서 본 연구 결과는 심장초음파 입문자들의 초음파 선행경험에 맞는 학습목표를 제시하고 심장초음파 교육 분야의 기초자료로 활용될 수 있음을 기대한다.
