진로관련 비관주의와 진로탐색행동의 관계에서 진로자기효능감, 결과기대 및 자율성 동기의 매개효과 = The mediation effects of career self-efficacy, outcome expectation, and autonomic motivation between career-related pessimism and career exploration behavior

The purpose of this study was to examine the mediation effects of career self-efficacy, outcome expectation, and autonomic motivation between career-related pessimism and career exploration behavior. The results of the current study emphasized on the significance of career-related pessimism, career self-efficacy, outcome expectation, and autonomic motivation in promoting career exploration behavior With 423 Korean college students, there were both significant direct and indirect effects from career-related pessimism to career exploration behavior. Specifically, the mediation effects of both career self-efficacy and outcome expectation in the relation between career-related pessimism and autonomic motivation and was statistically significant. In addition, autonomic motivation also significantly mediated the relationships between self-efficacy and career exploration behavior and between outcome expectation and career exploration behavior. These results have significant practical implications to encourage college students to engage in exploring career decision-making process.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 사회인지진로이론을 바탕으로 하여, 진로자기효능감, 결과기대 및 자율성 동기를 매개로 진로관련 비관주의가 대학생들의 진로탐색행동에 미치는 직, 간접적인 영향을 규명해보고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 서울소재 4년제 대학에 재학 중인 남녀대학생 423명을 대상으로 다섯 변인들 간의 관계를 구조방정식 모형을 통해 검증하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 진로탐색행동은 진로관련 비관주의, 진로자기효능감, 결과기대, 및 자율성동기와 모두 유의미한 관계에 있었다. 둘째, 진로관련 비관주의와 자율성 동기간의 관계를 진로자기효능감과 결과기대가 모두 유의미하게 매개하였다. 셋째, 진로자기효능감과 결과기대는 각각 자율성 동기를 통해서 진로탐색행동에 정적 영향을 미쳤다. 이러한 연구 결과들이 대학생들의 진로 상담 장면에서 갖는 의미와 제한점을 논의하였다.
