스트레스, 배우자지지, 결혼만족 간 관계: 자기효과 및 상대방효과 검증 = The Relationships between Stress, Perceived Marital Support, and Marital Satisfaction: Testing Actor and Partner Effects of Stress and Perceived Marital Support

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 스트레스-대처이론과 결혼만족 관련 선행연구들을 토대로 지각된 배우자지지가 스트레스와 결혼만족 간 관계를 매개하는 인과적 구조모형을 설정하고, 배우자간 상호작용을 규명하기 위해 자기-상대방 상호의존 모형(Actor-Partner Interdependence Model; Kenny, 1996)을 통해 자료를 분석하였다. 이를 위해 서울과 경기 지역에 거주하는 187쌍의 부부를 대상으로 일상적 스트레스 척도, 배우자지지 척도, 결혼만족도 척도를 사용하여 설문조사를 실시하였다. 자료분석 결과, 우선 스트레스 → 결혼만족, 스트레스 → 배우자지지, 배우자지지 → 결혼만족의 모든 경로에서 자기효과와 상대방효과가 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 배우자지지가 스트레스와 결혼만족 간 관계를 매개하는 부분매개모형이 자료에 적합한 것으로 드러났다. 배우자지지의 매개효과와 스트레스 및 배우자지지의 자기효과 및 상대방효과를 Sobel 검증을 통해 확인한 결과, 먼저 남편과 아내의 스트레스는 배우자지지를 매개로 상대 배우자의 결혼만족에 간접적으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 스트레스가 결혼만족에 미치는 자기효과와 상대방효과는 남편과 아내 모두 유의하게 나타났는데 남편들에게서는 자기효과가 더 큰 반면 아내들에게서는 상대방효과가 더 크게 나타나 남편과 아내 간 성차가 있는 것으로 드러났다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 결혼 상담에 대한 시사점과 추후연구를 위한 제언을 논하였다.
