딸이 지각한 아버지의 양육태도가 성인기 딸의 성격특성에 미치는 영향 = The study on the relation between adult daughters' personality and their perception of paternal rearing practices

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The influence of fathering on the personality of their daughters was tested by evaluating the relationship between daughters' perception of their own characteristic profiles. Three hundred women(age 20 to 50) were recruited and asked to fill out the questionnaires. Factor analysis was used to collapse the items in the questionnaire into a few meaningful dimensions of characteristics. Regression was used to predict the relationship between independent and dependent variables. As to the relationship between daughters' perception of fathers and Collectivism, daughters who perceived their fathers as receptive and authoritarian had a high level of Self-Monitoring(SM). As to the relationship between daughters' perception of fathers and their personality, daughters who perceived their fathers as rational were Individualism. The role of fathering and self-esteem with previous studies were discussed.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 아버지에 대한 지각이 성인기 딸의 성격특성에 어떤 영향을 미치고 있는지 분석하고 이를 통해 자녀양육에 아버지 역할의 중요성을 밝히고자 하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 총 300명의 20대에서 50대까지 성인기 딸을 대상으로 조사하였다. 요인분석은 문항들의 재구조화를 위해 시행되었고, 회귀분석은 아버지의 양육태도가 딸의 성격특성에 미치는 영향을 분석하여 두 변인의 관계를 파악하기 위해 사용되었다. 그 결과, 아버지를 수용적이고 권위주의적이라고 지각하고 있는 딸들은 높은 자기검색이 나타났으며, 아버지를 합리적으로 지각하고 있는 딸들은 개인주의적 성향이 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과를 아버지 역할과 자아존중감 특성과 선행연구들을 바탕으로 논의하였다.
