Nowadays, due to the limited usage of fossil fuel energy, pollution, global warming, plus all those environmental issues and use of intelligence network, environmental changes for the energy supply are on process. With this flow, eco-friendly cars are appearing as a transportation system. This method is direct way to use fossil fuel energy which our most convenient daily transportation cars to face the new life dealing with other energy rather than fossil fuels.
Electronic cars need grand infra to popularize, therefore constant keen investigation on electric feeder design is necessary.
On research of electronic cars’ charging feeder design needs following factors to considerate.
Electronic cars need to have a time to charge, which can be during the park. Thus, the relation between environment and parking space need to be considered. And cars that are using by normal family which are going to be parking in their house or near area, in Korea most family are living in apartment building. If dealing with a parking lot in apartment housing, the purpose is to improve the environmental issue which nowadays, parking space iscreating inside the building or in the basement. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to investigate on the electronic car’s charging stand which will be using inner area of the building.
In the process of investigation, the usage of electronic cars’ energy and analysis of parking environmental issues are included. The result is based on the analysis between existing transportation charging system in various methods with electronic charging method. Plus, also compared and analyze other products that are using electric charges.
In conclusion, specific characters based on the users’ behaviors with the charging equipment related to the environmental issue and specific characters of public facilities’ roles are shown. These specified results are like following.
Firstly, the design factors about users’specific character of using charging object are ergonomic design for every people, simplicity of using process and accessibility for adapting new installation.
Secondly, specific characteristics about inner parking installation will be, demand of suiting factors for installation with an environment, the purpose of integration which outer and inner part of car combine with ease and safety factors in the parking space not dealing as an obstacle.
Thirdly, the specific characteristics as public facilities, it needs long durability, eco-friendly factors that dealing with energy usage, and coincide cultural identity with community culture.
As stated above, design’s elements for installation are screen section, cable section and image section are included which lead to a design simulation with an alternative process for claims postulated.
Within the alternative design process, focus on the charging amount per day; give at reasonable elements to preserve the charger in apartment housing area and progress design materializing on present state indoor parking space.
Materialization of design and functions are like following features.
a. combine screen section and operative section and induce the progress to the screen to combine utilization.
b. Person can intuitively use charging lamp or connecting section.
c. Maximize the usability of apartment housing by connection with home network system.
d. Focus on the practical use of space by making two cars charging in the same time as using poles and walls of building as a charging section.
e. Maximize the possible practical use by apply apartment housings’ brand image on basic molding.
As stated above, this study shows the possibility of using present parking space to change as a charging system as following the public trend of electronic car. Moreover this study is indicating the significance of design function that follows the changes in energy flows.
