국문 초록 (Abstract)

제자규(弟子規)에 담긴 아동 상담학적 의미 탐색 Exploring the Child Counseling Implications Contained in the Di Zi Gui 이 경 희 청주교육대학교 교육대학원 초등상담교육 전공 (지도교수 이 재 용) 이 연구의 목적은 동양의 고전으로 평가받는 유교 사상에 입각한 생활규범을 담 은 아동교육서『제자규(弟子規)』를 중심으로 상담학적 접근을 통해 아동 상담학적 의미를 탐색하고 학교 현장에 적용하여 교육적 의미를 도출하는 데 있다. 이 연구의 연구 문제는 1)『제자규』의 내용을 분석하고 그 안에 담긴 상담학적 해석과 2)『제자규』에 담긴 아동 상담학적 의미에 대한 탐색이며, 박성희(2008)의 ‘고전에서 상담지식 추출하기’ 과정을 연구 방법으로 활용하였다. 『제자규』는 총서(總序)·입즉효(入卽孝)·출즉제(出卽弟)·근(謹)·신(信)·범애중 (汎愛衆)·친인(親仁)·여력학문(餘力學文)의 총 8개 절목으로 나뉜다. 각 절목의 전 문(全文)의 내용을 분석 및 해석한 결과, 내용 체계적으로는 시간적 배경과 공간적 배경의 흐름을 전제로 한 아동의 성장 과정에 따른 시각으로 환경 확대법을 활용하 여 아동의 생활 각 영역에서 덕목과 함께 바람직한 생활 습관을 위한 교육적 훈육 을 내용으로 하고 있음을 확인하였다. 이로써『제자규』가 추구하고자 하는 인간상 은 긍정 정서와 바른 인성을 지니며 자기 성찰을 통한 바람직한 변화와 스스로의 성장을 실천하는 어린이에 있다. 내용적으로는 좋은 생활 습관으로 아동이 지녀야 할 바람직한 자세나 행동, 태도, 마음가짐 등을 자세한 예시들과 함께 보여주고 있 어 아동 생활 교육을 위한 교육적 훈육의 성격을 지닌 것으로 파악하였다. 진정성 을 바탕으로 한 인간관계, 타인 존중과 배려를 통한 사회성, 자기 관리와 꾸준한 성찰과 자기 신뢰 및 타인과의 관계성 형성, 공정성과 공동체 의식을 지닌 인류애 적 소속감 등 절목별 상담학적 해석의 핵심 내용은『제자규』가 지니고 있는 바람 직한 사회생활의 원리와 인간 변화의 원리와 전략은 학교 현장에서의 아동 상담과 밀접하게 연관되어 있어 상담학적으로 더욱 그 의의가 있다. 『제자규』에서 탐색 한 아동 상담학적 의미들은 첫째, 『제자규』는 시간적 흐름과 아동의 사회적 범위 확대에 따른 발달과업 중심의 성장을 내포한 아동 발달을 기반으로 하고 있으며 둘 째, 아동의 주체적 자기실현에 주목한 바람직한 변화와 성장을 조명하며 셋째, 아 동의 부단한 자기 이해와 자기 성찰을 집중하며 넷째, 아동의 조화로운 삶과 사람 다운 성장을 도우며 다섯째, 공동체 의식과 긍정 정서를 통한 조화로운 인간이자 비로소 행복한 아이로의 성장을 추구하는 것으로 도출되었다. 이 요소와 의미들은 각각의 의미를 지니지만 서로 밀접한 상호 관계성을 띄고 있어 하나의 총체적 의미 로도 이해할 수 있다. 이 연구는 동서고금을 초월한 시대와 장소, 상황의 차이에도 불구하고 아동의 바 람직한 변화와 성장을 위해 돕는 것이 곧 상담이라는 시각을 바탕으로 동양의 고전 『제자규』를 아동을 위한 상담학적 관점에서 해석하고 의미를 탐색하고 연구하였 다는 데에 의의가 있다. 『제자규』에 담긴 아동 상담학적 의미가 스스로의 성장을 위해 노력하려는 아동과 자녀를 키우는 부모, 교육 현장의 교사 그리고 사회 구성 원에게 바람직한 아동의 변화와 성장을 돕는데 효과적인 접근이자 적용 가능한 교 육 및 상담적 개입의 방안이 되어줄 수 있기를 기대한다. 주요어: 제자규, 아동상담, 상담학적 의의, 공자사상, 고전분석 ※ 본 논문은 2024년 8월 청주교육대학교 교육대학원 대학원위원회에 제출된 교육학 석사학위논문임.

The purpose of this study is to explore the meaning of child counseling through a counseling approach and apply it to school settings, focusing on the children's education book 『Di Zi Gui; 弟子規』, which contains life norms based on Confucianism, which is regarded as an Eastern classic. The goal is to derive educational meaning.
The research questions of this study are 1) analyzing the content of 『Di Zi Gui』 and its counseling interpretation, 2) exploring the child counseling meaning contained in『Di Zi Gui』, and exploring the meaning of child counseling in 『Di Zi Gui』, as well as Park Seong-hee's (2008) 'Counseling in the Classics' The process of ‘extracting knowledge’ was used as a research method.
『Di Zi Gui』 is divided into a total of 8 sections; Introduction(總序), On being filial at home(入卽孝 On practicing true brotherhood(出卽弟), On being careful and honest(謹, 信), On cherishing all living being(汎愛衆), On drawing near to goodhearted(親仁), On studying whenever we can(餘力學文). As a result of analyzing and interpreting the contents of the full text of each section, the contents were systematically utilized in each area of ​​the child's life by using the environmental expansion method from a perspective according to the child's growth process based on the premise of the flow of temporal and spatial background. It was confirmed that the content includes educational discipline for desirable lifestyle habits along with virtue. Accordingly, the human image that 『Di Zi Gui』 seeks to pursue is a child who has positive emotions and upright character and practices desirable change and self-growth through self-reflection. In terms of content, it shows with detailed examples the desirable posture, behavior, attitude, and mindset that children should have as good lifestyle habits, and was identified as having the nature of educational discipline for children's life education. The core contents of counseling interpretation for each section include human relationships based on sincerity, sociality through respect and consideration for others, self-management and constant reflection, self-trust and forming relationships with others, and a sense of belonging toward humanity with fairness and a sense of community. The principles of desirable social life and the principles and strategies of human change contained in 『Di Zi Gui』 are closely related to child counseling in schools, making it even more meaningful in counseling terms. The child counseling meanings explored in 『Di Zi Gui』 are, firstly, 『Di Zi Gui』 is based on child development, which implies growth centered on developmental tasks according to the passage of time and the expansion of the child's social scope, and secondly, the child's independent self. Third, it focuses on children's constant self-understanding and self-reflection, and fourth, it helps children live harmonious lives and grow as human beings. Fifth, it helps children become harmonious human beings with a sense of community and positive emotions. It was finally concluded that the pursuit of growth into a happy child was achieved. Although these elements and meanings have separate meanings, they are closely interrelated and can be understood as a single overall meaning.
This study interprets the Oriental classic 『Di Zi Gui』 from a counseling perspective for children based on the perspective that counseling is all about helping children achieve desirable changes and growth despite differences in times, places, and situations that transcend all times and times. It is meaningful in that the meaning was explored and studied. The child counseling meaning contained in 『Di Zi Gui』 is an effective approach and applicable educational and counseling approach to helping children change and grow, which is desirable for children who strive for their own growth, parents raising children, teachers in the educational field, and members of society. I hope that this can serve as a way to intervene.
