남녀대학생의 진로장애가 진로태도성숙에 미치는 영향에 대한 자기격려의 매개효과 = The Mediating Effects of Self-encouragement on the Relationship between Career Barriers and Career Attitude Maturity of College Students

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study aimed to examine the relationship between career barriers and career attitude maturity and the mediating effects of self-encouragement. The subjects were 539 college students in Korea. Data were analyzed by t-test, Pearson's correlation and multiple regression analysis. And structural equation model were used to verify the model of this study and to examine the mediating effects of self-encouragement. Results were as follows. First, female students had a significant higher level of career barriers than male students. There was significant differences in some subcomponents of career attitude maturity level by sex. And all subcomponents of carrier barriers were negatively related with career attitude maturity and self-encouragement. Second, the model of this study fit well. Self-encouragement mediated the relationship between career barriers and career attitude maturity. And it moderated the effects of career barriers on career attitude maturity. Third, self-encouragement had the more mediate effects on carrier barriers in men. And the suggestions for counseling of college students were discussed.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구에서는 진로장애와 진로태도성숙의 관계에서 자기격려의 매개효과를 확인하고자 하였다. 539명의 남, 여대학생을 대상으로 한 진로장애, 자기격려, 진로태도성숙 검사결과를 토대로 각 변인들의 성별 평균 차이검증과 상관분석을 하였으며, 구조방정식 모델을 사용하여 연구모형을 검증하고 진로장애가 진로태도성숙에 미치는 영향에 대한 자기격려의 매개효과를 검증하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 여학생이 남학생보다 진로장애를 더 높게 지각하고 있었으며, 진로태도성숙 수준에 있어서는 하위요인에 따라 부분적으로 유의한 차이가 있었다. 진로장애의 모든 하위요인들은 진로태도성숙 및 자기격려와 부적상관이 있었다. 둘째, 진로장애와 자기격려 및 진로태도성숙의 구조모형은 적합한 것으로 나타났다. 자기격려는 진로장애와 진로태도성숙의 관계를 매개하는 효과를 보여 진로장애의 지각이 진로태도성숙에 미치는 영향을 자기격려를 통해 다소간 완화시킬 수 있음을 보여주었다. 셋째, 자기격려의 매개효과는 여학생보다는 남학생 집단에서 보다 크게 나타났다. 끝으로 대학생의 진로태도성숙을 위해 진로장애의 지각과 관련하여 상담과정에 자기격려를 활용할 수 있는 방안 등을 논의하였다.
