PBL(문제중심학습)을 적용한 중학교 음악 수업의 교수·학습 모형 연구 : 라디오 음악방송 제작을 중심으로

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구의 목적은 학습자가 문제를 해결하는 과정을 통해 필요한 지식을 스스로 배울 수 있도록 하는 학습자 중심의 학습모형인 PBL(Problem Based Learning : 문제중심학습)을 적용한 중학교 음악 수업의 지도방안 및 교수·학습 모형을 제시하는 것이다.
이를 위해 PBL의 기반이 되는 구성주의의 교수·학습 원칙, PBL의 특징, PBL의 전개과정에 대해 알아보고, 2009 개정 교육과정을 중심으로 중학교 음악 교육과정에 나타난 PBL의 관점과 적용 가능성을 살펴보았다. 그 내용을 바탕으로 PBL을 적용한 음악 수업의 절차를 ‘교수·학습 설계’과정과 ‘교수·학습 진행’과정으로 나누고, 이들을 각각 3단계로 세분화하여 단계별로 교수·학습 방안을 모색하였다.
수업을 위해 교사가 준비하는 ‘교수·학습 설계’과정은 ‘라디오 음악방송 제작하기’를 주제로 하는 문제와 학습자의 자기 주도적 학습을 촉진할 수 있는 학습자료, 그리고 학습자 스스로 자신의 모둠 활동이나 개별 학습과정에 대한 평가를 할 수 있는 평가도구를 개발하는 것이다. 이를 활용하여 수업을 실행하는 ‘교수·학습 진행’과정은 학습자가 주도적으로 학습할 수 있도록 촉진하고 안내하기 위한 구체적인 지도방안을 모색하는 것이다.
PBL을 적용한 ‘라디오 음악방송 제작하기’ 수업에서 학습자는 수동적인 청취자의 입장에서 벗어나 능동적으로 라디오 음악방송을 기획하고 발표하는 경험을 하게 되고, 이를 통해 음악이 주는 감동과 영향력을 몸소 체험할 수 있을 것이다. 또한 협동학습으로 협업의 즐거움과 소통을 경험할 수 있으며, 그 결과로 이러한 다양한 역할의 체험을 통해 직업 탐색의 기회가 될 수 있으며 진로의 결정에 도움이 될 수 있을 것이다.
또한 PBL을 적용한 음악수업은 해결 방향에 따라 다양한 수업 결과가 나올 수 있으므로 학습자의 음악적 표현력을 기르고 창의력을 증진시키는데 효과적이며, 표현, 감상, 생활화 등 다양한 영역의 통합적 음악 교육을 이룰 수 있다고 생각된다. 또한 학습자에게 능동적으로 음악을 경험하는 기회를 제공하여 음악에 대한 흥미와 관심을 갖게 한다. 학생들이 음악의 역할과 가치에 대한 안목을 키워 음악을 삶 속에서 즐길 수 있도록 PBL을 적용한 교수·학습 모형의 연구와 개발에 교사들의 많은 관심과 노력이 필요하다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to present a guidance plan and teaching & learning model of middle school's music class with PBL (Problem Based Learning), a learner-centered learning model enabling the learner to learn the necessary know-how through a their problem solving process.
To achieve this, we inquired into the teaching & learning principle of PBL based constructionism, characteristics of PBL and development process of PBL, examined PBL appeared on the middle school's curriculum of music on 2009's revised curriculum and its applicability. We classified the procedure of PBL applied music class into ‘teaching·learning design’ and ‘teaching·learning progress’, and divided each process into 3 subdivided stages to seek for proper teaching-learning method.
'Teaching & learning design' process, prepared by teaching in his class, is to develop problem titled, ‘radio music broadcasting production’, learning materials to promote leaner's self-directed learning, and assessment tool to evaluate the learner's own group activity or individual learning process. The process of 'teaching & learning progress' taking advantage of this and of teaching class is to grope for detailed guidance plan for promoting and guiding so that the learner could have a leading learning.
The learners in the class of PBL applied ‘radio music broadcasting production’, are expected to be out of being passive listener's position, and experience radio music broadcasting planning and exhibition, and this would allow them to experience the impression of music and its effect in person. Also, through the cooperative learning, the learner would experience the pleasure and communication of cooperation, and, as a result, it could be an opportunity of professional exploration through this experience of various roles, and help for his decision of career.
Also, PBL applied music class could results in diverse form for its different direction character of solutions, which is efficient for developing learner's musical expression and promoting its creativity, and be thought to achieve music education integrated of varied areas such as expression, appreciation and habituation. Also, providing learners with the opportunity of experiencing a positive music allows him to have an interest and attention in music. It is necessary to have much interest and effort of teachers in PBL applied teaching & learning model research and development for students to develop an eye for music's role and its value and to enjoy music in life.
