창덕궁의 풍수지리적 입지분석 연구 = A Analytical Study on Feng-Shui Location of Changdeokgung

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to analysis the location focused on the Feng-Shui’s point of view of the Changdeokgung in Seoul. Methodologically, this research utilizes analytical tools of mountains flow direction and energy of earth. In order to realize a variety of measured data of the Changdeokgung`s landscape, it should be needed to satellite maps of the Naver and contour maps of the Korean National Geographic Information Institute.
According to the previous studies, it has been recognized that the Injeongjeon has no the “Ansan” or substitution of the “Ansan” in Changdeokgung. Moreover, Deajojeon was regarded as an incomplete location due to lack of the “Ansan” or the “Baek-Ho” of right position in Changdeokgung.
This study showed that the Changdeokgung as a palace could be the “Myung-Dang” with the “Sasinsa” (Hyun-Moo, Chung-Ryong, Baek- Ho and Ju-Jak) regardless of weak points in flow direction of the mountains.
As the results, the Injeongjeon has been the “Ansan” energy provided by the “Cheung Ryong-Andae” and the “Nam-San” (current location is Hanokmaeul). Also, the “Deajojeon’ has been energy of the “Il-Ja-Mun-Sung” and the “Ship-Ja-Maek” even though the “Yong-Maek” of Changdeokgung showed the “Gwa-Maek” (This is phenomenon of disconnection chains of the mountains).
Conclusively, the “Injeongjeon” and the “Deajojeo” in the Changdeokgung has been the best location as a palace from the view point of the “Sasinsa” of Feng-Shui.
