The distribution of strain in the extreme state was reviewed for the flexural member with the minimum reinforcement ratio. As a result, at the time of failure, the strain rate of reinforcement exceeded the uniform elongation or fracture elongation of reinforcement. Therefore, the strain limit conditions were verified by combining the contents of the design basis(Limited State Design Method) and the elongation characteristics of reinforcement were investigated to compare them with the strain of tensile reinforcement with the minimum reinforcement cross section. By analyzing the data of uniform elongation rate of domestic reinforcement, a graph of the normal distribution and probability frequency of each steel arch strength is analyzed, we propose a uniform elongation rate, which plays an important role in maintaining the strength of reinforced concrete members subjected to repetitive loads.
