뉴미디어아트영상에서 표현되는 고통감에 관한연구 : 본인 작품 <Life Under Bondage>를 중심으로

Emotion is the general name of a series of subjective cognitive experience in the real society, and it is the psychological and physiological state produced by a variety of senses, thoughts and actions. Emotion enables human beings to satisfy their own or others' spiritual or survival needs through simple pronunciation, behavioral actions and other forms, to express their inner feelings, and to provide instructions for their own actions. In the field of art, almost all forms of art try to deepen the meaning of works of art through profound expressions of emotion. Now, with the continuous development of computer technology and network technology, art is also gradually moving towards the "Integration", "Technology" and "Diversification" of the field, new media art is also born. With the help of computer technology and network technology, new media art has greatly broadened the artistic thinking space and opened up new areas in the field of art. New media image art is an important part of modern new media art, how to convey the feelings and emotions of the works to the audience, constantly explore the artistic expression of the human spiritual world, and use the means of new media art to show to the audience, become a part of the new media artists to explore the direction. Thus, in the new media image art, the emotional expression method is particularly important.
This paper focuses on the emotion expression in new media art images, In the first chapter, through the introduction of emotional theory in psychology, namely physiology, cognition, behavior, motivation, evolution and other emotional development and performance in the process of five orientations, in conjunction with the emotional transmission process of "imitation feedback" mechanism, to study the spread of emotion in works of art. In the second chapter, the author mainly through exploring the traditional image media emotional expression means, and compared with the new media image art emotional expression means, showing the new media image art and traditional media image art in the visual form, visual thinking, visual media, visual culture in four aspects of similarities and differences. In chapter three, by analyzing and structuring bill viola 's work <The Quintet of the Astonished>, the author explores the means and techniques of emotional expression in his work The fourth chapter mainly focuses on the author 's new media image art work "life under bondage", analyzes the art design, production process, image editing and display settings four aspects, summarizes the general rules of emotional expression in the new media image art.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

정서는 현실 사회에서 일류의 주관적인 인지 경험에 대한 총칭이며, 다양한 감각, 사상과 행동이 복합적으로 발생하는 심리적, 생리적 상태이다. 감정은 인간으로 하여금 간단한 발음, 행동동작 등의 형식을 통해 자신이나 타인의 정신이나 생존 욕구를 충족시켜 자신의 내면 감정을 표현하고 자신의 행동을 지시하게 한다. 예술 분야에서는 거의 모든 예술 형식이 감정과 정서적인 깊은 표현으로 예술 작품의 의미를 깊게 하려고 시도한다. 오늘날에는 컴퓨터와 인터넷 기술이 발달하면서 통합화, 과학기술화, 다각화의 영역의 뉴 신미디어 아트가 탄생했다. 뉴미디어 아트는 컴퓨터 기술과 네트워크 기술에 힘입어 예술적 사고의 공간을 크게 넓히고 예술 분야에서 새로운 영역을 개척해 왔다. 뉴미디어 영상아트는 현대 뉴미디어아트에서 중요한 부분이다. 작품의 감정과 정서를 어떻게 전달하고, 인간 정신세계의 예술적 표현을 끊임없이 탐구하며, 뉴미디어 아트의 수단을 활용해 관객에게 보여주는지, 일부 뉴미디어 아티스트들이 열심히 탐구하는 방향이 되고 있다. 이로써 뉴미디어 영상아트에서 정서적 표현의 방법이 중요하다.
본 논문은 뉴미디어 영상아트에서 고통감 표현을 주요 연구 분야로 선정하였다. 제1장에서는 심리학에서의 정서 이론, 즉 생리, 인지, 행위, 동기, 진화 등 정서적 발전과 표현에서의 다섯 가지 취향을 도입함으로써 정서 전달 과정에서의 '모방-피드백' 메커니즘에 맞춰 예술작품에서 정서가 전파되는 원리를 연구했다. 제2장의 내용 중 필자는 주로 전통적인 영상매체에서의 고통스러운 정서적 표현수단을 탐구하고 뉴미디어 영상아트의 정서적 표현기법과 비교하며, 뉴미디어 영상아트과 전통 미디어 영상예술에서의 시각적 형식, 시각적 사고, 시각적 매체, 시각문화의 네 가지 측면의 공통점과 차이점을 보여준다. 제3장에서 필자는 미국의 뉴미디어 아티스트 빌 비올라의 작품<놀라운 오중주>를 분석, 고통표현에 관한 수단과 기법을 탐구한다. 제4장은 주로 필자의 뉴미디어영상아트작품 <Life Under Bondage>를 중심으로 예술디자인, 제작과정, 영상편집, 전시설치의 네 가지 측면을 분석해 뉴미디어 영상아트에서의 고통스러운 정서표현 수법의 일반적인 법칙을 요약한다.
