대학재정지원에서 대학특성화모형 적합도 분석 및 활용 방안

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study aims at a comparative analysis on fit of research-based, academic-industrial, and education-based university model of 70 universities by showing outcome of university specialization compared to maximization of financial input and output of specialization factors at the level of raising university specialization efficiency, the urgent current issue in higher education.
The analysis results are as follows: first, 6% of research-based, 79% of academic-industrial, and 20% of education-based universities were analyzed to have efficient structure of university specialization.
Second, variables contributing to high model fit are derived due to strategic differences in university specialization. Variables contributing to raising efficiency of research-based university model are exposed as employment rate, research funds-winning performance, number of SCI-level papers per faculty, foreign full-time faculty ratio, and international student ratio, those of academic-industrial university model, field training-completing student ratio, number of professors working on industry-university cooperation, public equipment operating income, and current state of full-time academic and professional workforce within industry-university cooperation foundation, and those of education-based university model, undergraduate ratio, respectively.
Third, Only one university showed 100% fit efficiency in all three university specialization models. As most universities, however, showed relatively high fit, fit efficiency in university specialization model was able to be derived.
Based on the results, this study proposed new implications for university specialization structure establishment at the national level, direction establishment of government funding project for university specialization, and direction establishment of university specialization at the university level.
