This research try to check how the autism children` writing in story grammar characteristic and writing strategy different from general children.
So, 9 high functioning autism children age of first grader in elementary school to second year in junior high school with over 60 Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children, who live in Seoul and Gyeonggi-Do area, and 9 general children who square the year of the school with autism children, with over 85 Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children, provide picture book with no letter 'Frog, where are you(Mayer)' to both group, calculate the writing. Also, in order to know children` language ability, took Receptive Expressive Vocabulary Test, REVT, 2009, to evaluate children` intelligence quotient, KEDI-WISC: Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children-Revised, WISC-R. Calculated writing material is evaluated as story grammar and writing strategy, see if there is meaningful difference between groups, confirmed statistic difference by t-examination.
Summery of the research is in the following.
First, through analytical researches of high functioning autism children group and general children group`s total number of sentence and C-unit total score, there was no significant difference between two groups.
Second, through analytical researches of story grammar category average and standard deviation, there was meaningful statistic difference in inner reaction.
Third, there was no significant difference between high functioning autism children group and general children group children` writing strategy use overall. However, high functioning autism children had higher score than general children in inference, but showed low scores in elaboration, linking, systematization, so they used most of writing strategy in inference.
Forth, compare high functioning autism children and general children two groups` writing strategy with more details, statistically, there was meaningful difference in logical order and time order.
