전통산수화의 생태적 요소와 생태교육적 의미 = Ecological Elements and Ecological Educational Meanings of Traditional Landscape Painting

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This paper examined ecological elements and ecological educational meanings of traditional landscape painting with the purpose of illuminating relationship between education using traditional landscape painting with ecological education brought into relief in a situation with the global environment in danger.
First, this study looked at relationship between anthropocentrism and ecocentrism and between human life, the Nature, and arts and explored relationship between humans and the Nature in traditional landscape painting. The Nature in traditional landscape painting encompasses mountains, water, and humans who enjoy them and contain sceneries where humans and the Nature harmonize with each other.
After reading ecological elements through profound examination of traditional landscape painting, this study examined ecological educational meanings of traditional landscape paining with a main focus on suggestive points for today’s art education: 1) the importance of direct experiential learning on the Nature, 2) awareness of life and poetic sensitivity, 3) ecological identity through internal personality change, 4) expansion of life horizon through internal introspection of the Nature, and 5) embodiment of the purposes of ecological art education pursuing harmony between the Nature and humans.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 논문은 전통산수화와 지구환경 위기 상황에서 대안으로 부각된 생태교육과의 관련성을 밝히려는 목적으로 전통산수화가 지닌 생태적 요소와 생태교육적 의미를 고찰하는데 목적이 있다. 먼저 인간중심주의와 생태중심주의 그리고 삶과 자연과 미술의 관계를 고찰하였고, 전통산수화에 나타난 인간과 자연의 관계를 탐색하였다. 전통산수화는 산(山)과 물(水)과 이를 즐기는 인간의 모습을 아우르고 있어, 인간과 자연이 서로 조화를 이루고 있는 경관을 담아내고 있었다. 마지막으로 전통산수화 고찰을 통해 전일성, 생명감, 생태적 감수성, 정신성, 생태적 상상력 측면으로 생태적 요소를 읽어 낸 후, 전통산수화가 생태교육에 주는 시사점을 1) 자연에 대한 직접체험과 교감의 중요성, 2) 전일성과 생명에 대한 자각, 3) 자연에 대한 내면적 성찰로 삶의 지평 확장, 4) 자연과 인간의 조화를 추구하는 생태미술교육 목표의 구현체(具現體) 로 제시하였다.
