청소년기 교우연결망 변화에 관한 연구: 생활역량을 중심으로 = A study on the Change of Youth Peer Network: Focusing on the Life Competency

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study attempted to examine the change of youth peer network in a class and to identify factors which affected the change of the network. It focused on the effects of youth life competency. To achieve this object, this study analyzed 41 the first year high school girls in the same class. As interactions in the class were increased, density of network, number of linkages and cliques, and centralities were changed. The positive correlation between the early acquaintance and the late acquaintance meant the high level of local centrality. However, it did not mean those cliques are isolated. Members who had high betweenness centrality also had high level of life competency.
Groups which had the high level of life competency showed high means of in-degree and betweenness centralities in the early period, and high closeness and betweenness centralities at the end of the study. It meant members who had high level of life competency showed higher level local centrality in the early period, then had the higher level in their whole centrality in the late period. We also found that the characteristics of group activities were qualitatively better among those who had the higher life competency level. We concluded that the life competency in terms of group dynamics had important effects on the quality of the centralities.
