At this point in time that an interest in an infant's early development and emotional intelligence grows, this study aims to examine whether, in the context that an infant belongs, an infant's disposition which is an individual variable, a mother's rearing attitude which is a key environmental variable, and Goodness-offit as a variable which connects the two, have an influence on the development of emotional intelligence. And it aims to examine an element that predicts an infant's emotional intelligence, make the importances of a mother's rearing attitude and Goodness-of-fit recognized in this way regarding the development of infancy children's emotional intelligence, and provide a basic material for the development of parent education program that promotes emotion development in an infancy.
The study questions were as follows.

3. How are the relations between a mother's rearing attitude, Goodness-of-fit, an infant's sex and emotional intelligence?
3-1. How are the relations between a mother's rearing attitude, Goodness-of-fit, an infant's sex and perception and expression of self emotion?
3-2. How are the relations between a mother's rearing attitude, Goodness-of-fit, an infant's sex and control of emotion, suppression of compulsion?
3-3. How are the relations between a mother's rearing attitude, Goodness-of-fit, an infant's sex and utilization of self emotion?
3-4. How are the relations between a mother's rearing attitude, Goodness-of-fit, an infant's sex and perception and consideration of others' emotion?
3-5. How are the relations between a mother's rearing attitude, Goodness-of-fit, an infant's sex and interpersonal relationship skills?
This study aims to examine how a mother's rearing attitude, Goodness-of-fit and an infant's sex have an influence on full 3-years-old infant's emotional intelligence. And it was performed with 100 pairs of full 3-years-old infants, who are attending 13 nurseries located in Wonju-city, Gangwon-do, and their mothers, as well as 18 teachers in charge of those infants during more than 10 months. To measure a mother's rearing attitude, we used a questionnaire that Seo, Ju-Hyun (2009) drew up with reference to Schaefer (1959)'s MBRI (Maternal Behavior Research Instrument). And we used a revised edition of disposition level test; DOTS-R; ethnotheory (Windle & Lerner, 1986) to measure Goodness-of-fit, and this questionnaire is composed of 6 sub-elements.
Also, with regard to an infant's emotional intelligence, we used a revised and complemented edition of Teachers Rating Scale of Emotion Intelligence that Kim, Kyung-Hoi(1998) produced on the basis of a conception model of emotional intelligence revised, suggested by Salovey and Mayer(1996), and this scale is composed of 5 sub-elements.
With regard to the collected data, we performed frequency, percentage, average, standard deviation, t-test (independent -samples t-test, matching samples t-test) and phased multiple regression analysis, using SPSS (Statistics Program for Social Science) 17.0 program.
The conclusion according to the result of this study is as follows.
First, with a result that we examined the differences between a mother's rearing attitude, Goodness-of-fit and emotional intelligence according to an infant's sex, a girl showed a significantly higher general scale of emotional intelligence than a boy.
Second, with a result that we examined the differences between a psychological demand and behavioral demand of Goodness-offit, the significant difference appeared between psychological Goodness-of-fit and behavioral Goodness-of-fit.
Third, with a result that we examined how a mother's rearing attitude, psychological and behavioral Goodness-of-fit and an infant's sex have an influence on general emotional intelligence, a positive rearing attitude and an infant's sex appeared to have a statical influence on general emotional intelligence, regarding both psychological Goodness-of-fit and behavioral Goodness-of-fit, equally.

And with regard to behavioral Goodness-of-fit, behavioral attention (dispersion-concentration) Goodness-of-fit appeared to have a statical influence on an infant's use of self-emotion.
